CC-SC6 BLASTER CARTRIDGE
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Self containued ammunition cell including compressed tibanna and irolunn gas and micro energy pack
  • Durable exterior cartridge designed to resist harsh conditions and treatment
STRENGTHS
  • Potent Payload: The compressed tibanna-irolunn gas mixture inside a CC-SC6 cell delivers an extremely powerful blast with each shot and can really amp up the power of even a light blaster.
  • Lock and Load: With a CC-SC6 cartridge there's no need to wait for traditional blaster cycling or cool-down periods, just pop in a fresh cartridge when you're out and keep blasting away.
  • Reliable Design: Each self-contained cartridge is designed to keep working even with rough conditions or rough handling, and cartridges can be refilled for repeated use.
WEAKNESSES
  • Too Much Power: CC-SC5 cartridges aren't compatible with all types of blasters, at least without serious modifications, since the raw power of each shot can overwhelm smaller weapons.
  • Limited Capacity: Due to their size the ammunition capacity of CC-SC6 cells is extremely limited, no more than 12 shots at the high end and as low as 4 in smaller blasters.
  • Try Not To Explode: Whether loaded in your blaster or in your back-pocket, a tiny metal cylinder full of batteries and explosive gas isn't the sort of thing you want rupturing near you.
DESCRIPTION
A unique development in blaster ammunition technology (slightly reverse-engineered from a few earlier designs) Captain's Choice Self-Contained-6 blaster cartridges are designed to offer a new way to keep your favorite blaster topped off. Each cell is composed of a lightweight yet durable casing containing a micro power cell and a number of compressed gas chambers containing a mix of tibanna and irolunn. When fired, an individual chamber is ignited to release a single, high-powered shot before the next chamber is rotated into place. This process makes CC-SC6 cartridges potent and reliable for their size, but limits their ammo capacity and rate of fire. Still, many spacers are willing to take the trade off, as they know Captain's Choice is always the right choice!
