The Blackguard follows a loose command structure:
The Conclave: A gathering of all the masters of the force that sits on top of the Blackguard. Every master has a say in the Conclave, no matter what they have done outside of the Guard. The Conclave oversees the actions and operation of the Blackguard, to make sure that the Seekers and Scribes do their duty.
The Seekers: The Knight of the Blackguard serve as seekers. Their duty is to collect and defend the ancient knowledge of the force throughout the galaxy. Their service is rewarded with a place in the Conclave if they do well. Seekers are allowed to speak before the Conclave, but their word has little weight there.
The Scribes: Apprentices, Acolytes, Padawans and Initiates are named Scribes by the Guard, and their duty is to oversee the knowledge already gathered. Scribes are allowed to serve under a member of the Seekers or the Conclave to go in the field, but their foremost duty is to learn the wisdom given to them by the Guard so they can become Seekers in the future.
