The Confederacy of Independent Systems guarantees free enterprise, under the aegis of the Corporate Alliance; nevertheless the Corporate Alliance will recognize the efforts of companies loyal to the Confederacy. As loyal CIS corporations contribute to the Confederate resource pools, the constituent companies' status will improve within the Corporate Alliance. At the core is a three-tier rank system in which the privileges of a player are capped by the OOC rank they hold, each with tier-up requirements, subject to change as the CIS expands ICly:

Executive: the entry-level rank of the Corporate Alliance

Industrialist:

• Own a tier-3+ corporation
• Produce three products to be placed at the disposal of the CIS (for service companies, codex entries are used instead, such as locations, NPCs)

Viceroy:

• Own a tier-4+ corporation
• Possess a location in Confederate space (a dev thread relating the tier-4+ corporation to an operation or transaction in CIS space is required)
• Produce an additional three products to be placed at the disposal of the CIS (for service companies, codex entries are used instead, such as locations, NPCs)

Privileges: Can hold a seat in the Executive Council
