Cyril Kamos
Born aboard the freighter Xenia, Cyril experienced a childhood traveling the stars. Their parents were Anzat fugitives. The trio survived off odd jobs, never staying in one place for long. Cyril’s mother was killed when they were very young, after being caught feeding on a client’s wife. Following this incident, Cyril’s father began to avoid feeding as much as possible, teaching his child to do the same.
Over the course of their childhood, Cyril was taught how to defend themself and to harness Anzat telepathy to get out of tight situations. As they grew older, they began to fly the Xenia and work alongside their father. They grew accustomed to the long dashes from planet to planet, rarely making friends in the short time spent on any particular planet.
This peaceful, migratory life came to a brutal end one evening on the planet Lantillies. Cyril and their father had just finished a delivery for a Corellian businessman, and were staying on the planet for the night. While their father was busy searching for a new gig, Cyril found themself alone with a woman they’d met in a bar. Giving into their Anzati hunger, Cyril fed upon the woman, but was discovered trying to hide the body. Though they managed to escape the initial confrontation, Cyril was found attempting to get to their father. A fight broke out between the Anzati and local police, and the two attempted to escape to the Xenia, but were nearly cornered. Cyril’s father was killed, while Cyril manages to escape the planet.
Following the tragedy on Lantillies, Cyril took a vow to avoid feeding, just as their father had done. Continuing to find work wherever possible, they continued to do what they knew: traveling from star to star, making enough money to purchase supplies and fuel, and leaving again. Though a lonely life, it is a safe, familiar one. One that Cyril desperately hates.

Cyril is tall, muscular, but with an feminine face. They keep their hair long, and dress primarily in darker clothing.
Notable skills and traits:
Anzat biology: Anzati are noted for their unique biology, from their improved musculature compared to humans, their near-complete lack of typical bio signatures, natural telepathy, and unique sensory organs.
Trained to survive: Cyril was trained to use every advantage they can in a fight, and is skilled in both hand to hand combat and with a blaster, though they prefer to avoid needing to use such methods.
Lucky: Having gotten into and out of sticky situations more times than they can count, Cyril has chalked the numerous narrow escapes to luck, however, they are unaware that they are using the Force to help avoid disaster.
Awkward and unfriendly: Cyril’s upbringing and lifestyle has led to few chances to practice social skills, and even fewer to make friends. As such, they are rarely able to talk their way out of a situation and often fail to come off as friendly even when wanting to do so.
Starving: Anzati feed upon the memories and lifeforce of other sentients, and while they do not suffer physical malnourishment, they do still hunger when having gone without a meal for extended periods. Cyril has not fed in years, and has learned to avoid the temptation. But moments of weakness still arise, which can leave them nigh-incapacitated.
