STRENGTHS
Arm-Ripper: As a Wookiee, this Darth has all the incredible strength and physicality that his species has. Even without the trappings of a Sith, he is a truly physcial threat.
Sith Trained: Having been trained by a Sith master, Darth Kinrath is a versed practioner of the dark side. He seems to follow a path similar to the Sith juggernauts of the ancient Sith Empire.
WEAKNESSES
Big Target: Despite his tremendous bulk, his size is not always the brutal blessing he thinks it is. He sticks out of most crowds, and it amkes him a more obvious target in the heat of battle.
Ostracized: Due to his time with Sith, he is social pariah amongst other wookiees. This includes his madclaw status, willing to use his climbing claws as weapons. Furthermore, he has a language barrier to overcome, as his vocal cords are only capable of speaking Shyriiwook and its dialects. Thus, he must rely on translators or mutually intelligible speakers.
HISTORY
Born as Nalbacca on a small, uncharted moon near Alaris Prime, this Wookiee's life was marked by hardship from an early age. His birthplace, shadowed by the lush landscapes of Alaris Prime, was a stark contrast to the destiny that awaited him. At a young age, Nalbacca's exceptional strength and resilience were evident, qualities that unfortunately made him an attractive target for slavers. His life took a drastic turn when Zygerrian slavers, notorious for their ruthless trading of sentient species, captured him during a raid. The young Wookiee was torn from his home and thrust into a life of bondage.
Passed from one master to another, he experienced the galaxy's darkest corners, each more cruel and unforgiving than the last. His formidable physique and latent intelligence made him a valuable asset, and thus, his existence became a cycle of auctions and servitude. This torturous path led him to the Brotherhood of the Maw, a group known for their harsh treatment and utilization of slaves for high-risk operations in the most perilous sectors of space.
While enslaved by the Mawites, Nalbacca's life was poised for another dramatic change. During a particularly brutal mission, a Sith Lord from the New Sith Order witnessed Nalbacca unleashing an instinctive burst of Force power to save himself from certain death. Recognizing the raw, untapped potential within the Wookiee, this Sith decided to take Nalbacca under his wing, seeing an opportunity to mold a powerful new ally.
Under the secretive and rigorous tutelage of the Sith, Nalbacca learned to harness his innate connection to the Force, channeling his rage and pain into unprecedented power. His training was unconventional, driven by the harsh realities of his life experiences, which perfectly complemented the Sith philosophy that strength comes through conflict and suffering.
As Nalbacca grew in power and understanding of the Dark Side, he began to reshape his identity, distancing himself from the chains of his past. In a symbolic act of rebirth, he chose the name Darth Kinrath, inspired by the kinrath, a predatory creature native to Kashyyyk known for its lethal venom and hunting prowess. This new name reflected his transformation into a dangerous and cunning predator, no longer a prey to the whims of others.
