- Tubular magazine below barrel
- Loaded through door on underside of barrel casing
- Built in adjustable red dot sight
- Compensated barrel

- Optional mounts for extra rounds each side of stock
- Silky smooth action: If well maintained the lever action is very smooth and fast to operate with even a light touch.
- Accurate: Precision rifling makes the barrel very accurate and compensator helps keep the gun on target after firing.
- Well balanced for riding: The weapon is designed with firing from the saddle in mind so is remarkably well balanced and the smooth action makes it easy to use in such a manner.
- Reliable
- Limited Ammunition Capacity: Only 13 rounds makes multiple reloads necessary in a protracted firefight.
- Manually intensive reload: Each round has to be loaded into the tube manually one at a time making reloading quickly difficult.
- No Automatic Mode: While a skilled shooter can work the action almost as quickly as if the weapon was semi-automatic, this takes skill and user endurance, to most users the single round action is a hindrance.
- Difficult to Conceal
The Enrico comes from a line of weapons popular with mounted hunters and competition shooters alike. It has a smooth action that if well maintained can be operated with a single finger and can be moved very quickly allowing rapid firing compared to other rifles in its class.
Due to the limited body movements required to use the rifle, its compact design and otherwise well balanced nature, it represents a very good option for those who wish to hunt from the back of a steed.
To the outside galaxy, the weapon is archaic in nature, lacking automatic fire modes and using outdated slugger technology. But for its purposes it is wonderful and sometimes the solid lump of metal of a slug is exactly what you need to take down a charging beast or whatever you may be facing.
