Zachariah cast his eyes towards the clock.

With so many changes in his life, Zachariah noted the importance of not allowing his studies in the force to slip. Whilst he trusted that his mentor, the woman whom he addressed as grandmother would keep his learning fresh, he also wished to branch out and learn new skills from new people whom may have something unique to offer him in their understanding or control of the force.

He had enjoyed the discussions he had taken part in with his grandfather throughly, discussing their individual understandings of the force and touching upon the code of the Sith. He'd learned from the Sith Emperor, gained access to the vast knowledge that the ruler of the Sith Order had gained throughout his life. That knowledge, Zachariah was sure, would serve him well in learning about the force.

However, he still wanted more knowledge. He still wished for a deeper understanding of the force, a deeper understanding of the abilities that he could access through controlling the powers that he had access to. He wanted to truly begin exploring the potential of the powers of the force, of the powers that could be offered by true control of the abilities.

It had been suggested that a tutor be arranged for Zachariah, and the young acolyte had agreed. The offer of more knowledge was one that he couldn't turn down. Thus he sat, waiting with his eyes on the clock and he waited. He waited for his tutor to arrive, waited to see if the tutor was one who would waste his time or one who would allow him a much richer understanding of his potential.

Thus, his eyes remained on the clock. He was getting impatient.

"You know in some jurisdictions, there are those that erroneously claim that after enough time has passed, you are free to go if your instructor is not present." A voice spoke out from... somewhere, within the room certainly, but as was evident with any with eyes, there was none but the Sith acolyte who was awaiting the arrival of another.

The other had finally arrived.

"I certainly understand the sentiment, though as I said, it is rather erroneous," The voice changed its direction, seeming to echo off the walls of the room, seeming to one moment come from the far corner, to the next, come from the central stage, "Patience is a virtue so they say, one that unfortunately we Sith have either little of, or have in far too many spades," There was a visible smirk, not seen on any lips, but simply from the tone of the voice that still changed directions.

Though that smirk was far from joyful...

...It seemed almost wistful.

"What do you imagine you are, Zachariah Conway Zachariah Conway ? Impatient, or too patient?" The voice was much closer now, as if a slithering snake, there was a certain animalistic quality to his voice, as he advanced ever closer to the boy standing, awaiting, and all knew, no one wished to be bitten by a viper's fangs, nor be constricted by a boa's constriction, "Really, the question is, what kind of Sith do you believe yourself to be? What kind of Sith do you wish to be?"

The cloak and concealment fell off, revealing the tall and lithe man, covered in the dark armour of another, all leading up to a mask, a famous mask, an infamous mask, a replica of his great ancestors. Malum did not tower over the apprentice below, their height though different, was similar enough.

But Malum may as well have.

Such was the difference between lord and apprentice.

"And the far more important question, who are you?"

And why had the Sith Empress, Srina Talon Srina Talon ask him, to tutor this boy?
