Strengths:

• Powerful: When compared to various Blaster pistol designs, available to the open market, the XXX is considered to be a Heavy Blaster Pistol - comparable to that of the ancient DL-44 produced by BlasTech.

Weaknesses:

• Bombastic: Due to the addition of supplementary Galven Coils/Circuitry, the Blaster’s barrel is unable to mount Silencers or Suppressors, meaning that stealth is not a recommended route when equipped with this weapon.
• Heavy: Due to the additional tech crammed into the Pistol, it’s weight matches the classification. Meaning that the Sidearm is slightly heavier than the common alternative and that those who aren’t used to its weight - may find it difficult to compensate.

Description: The XXX was a Heavy Blaster Pistol designed by the nationalized assets of I’att Armament for use by the Galactic Alliance and their Marine Corps. Though the production had begun in small stages, as more and more sidearms were rolled out to the Marines through the New Class Modernization Program, the Pistol was soon distributed en-masse to every soldier garrisoned aboard one of the Alliance’s active-service Warships. Streamlining the process of attaching various accessories to the XXX was done through a Universal Rail System, in which the added Tactical Fitting would be mounted on the weapon’s casing for accessibility. (Various Examples of these Tactical Fittings include, but aren’t limited to: Flashlights, Pinpoint Laser Sight, and Pintle-mounted Combat Sight.) With the inclusion of additional Galven Coils/Circuitry, the Technicians of the nationalized company were able to unlock the ancient secrets of the DL-44 and what made the weapon so powerful in that bygone era. While the particle bolts produced by the gun was unable to penetrate Duraplast, the XXX was able to rend both the Plastoid and Betaplast alternatives into bubbling piles of molten slag after several closely spaced shots. Fewer shots were required to incinerate the standard composition of Flex-armour, however, similar optimal conditions, as listed in the previous sentence, would have to apply for such claims to be rendered valid.
