Willa worked on upgrading and improving the design allowing it to be a mini toolkit of weapons within a toolkit. So different capabilities can be switched between. The engineers giving it sophisticated measures to become one of the mainstays for protection with the toolkit or armors in general. As an attachment for a weapon it gives alternative firing modes to it in a smaller package that can be used and developed. After a showing of the capabilities of several weapon manufacturers the commander incorporated the maser and particle weapons into the design which would allow it while throwing charric for an added surprise. She would be able to work with it and have the toolkit upgraded heavily in most cases.
