STRENGTHS
  • Bring the Thunder: The two munitions launchers on the H-wing are capable of holding nearly as many weapons as the venerable K-wing, though these are limited to a certain size as they are held internally. Combined with the medium laser cannons on the turret and the prow-mounted Ion Cannons, this makes the H-wing a significant threat to any enemy that might cross its path.
  • Float like a Butterfly: Though it's not fast at all, the H-wing has a battery of advanced maneuvering/RCS jets, allowing it to be surprisingly nimble for its size and role.
WEAKNESSES
  • Slow as a Turtle: Some of the H-wing's test pilots complained that, despite its nimbleness, it's slow as a planetoid. Of course, this is a huge hyperbole, but it doesn't change the fact that the H-wing is very slow compared to some of its compatriots. You might be able to dodge the enemy and ruin his day but you won't be running anywhere very fast.
  • Loss of Fire Control: Because of the complexity of the targeting and firing control systems used in the fighter, the fighter requires a dedicated gunner to operate the turret and a dedicated bombardier for the Ordnance Launchers. If one or both of these were to be incapacitated or killed in the course of a batte, the H-wing would lose a massive portion of its combat capability.
DESCRIPTION

While the X-Wing and Y-wing offered flexible aircraft to use in close air support and basic strike missions, and the K-wing was more than capable of unleashing hell on an enemy ship or position, Incom-FreiTek-Koensayr Incorporated wanted to create a mass-produced yet highly capable fighter/bomber to bridge the gap between the dedicated fighters and fighter-bombers of the former, and the dedicated strike aircraft of the latter. The end of this effort was a modern version of the BTS-A2 Long Range Strike Fighter, the H-wing.

Featuring all the strengths of the ancient fighter, as well as all the creature comforts, upgrades, and necessary components required to match it up against modern fighters, the H-wing combines a highly maneuverable fighter with internal armament bays capable of holding nearly as much ordnance as the K-wing, though the ordnance is limited in size and weight. Also an addition is an astromech port in the pilot's compartment, allowing for a much higher jump range than a small and limited navicomputer. All in all, the H-wing makes for a versatile killing machine and an opponent not to be trifled with, more than ready to serve as a frontline strike fighter of the men and women of the Galactic Alliance Defense Force

    • Advanced Sensor Pod
    • Prisoner Containment
    • Search and Rescue Suite
  • Mission-Programmable Multi-Function Display
  • Mission-Programmable Avionics Package
  • Missile Deactivation Transmitter

STRENGTHS
  • Superior Firepower: The Heavy B-Wing's modular ordnance bay is capable of carrying a mighty arsenal of torpedoes or missiles, and is outfitted with a turbolaser cannon on its keel wingtip that outclasses almost every other armament most ships of its class may carry. With this very powerful loadout, it's capable of dishing out a beating that can threaten ships many times larger than the Heavy B-Wing
  • Versatile: Though it's primarily built for long range patrols in areas where there's no immediate threat requiring fleet patrols, the Heavy B-wing's modular slot (where its ordnance launcher can be loaded) allows it to carry out a large amount of different roles in combat, making it a catch-all when it comes to needing a electronic warfare ship, long range search and rescue ship, early warning ship, or even providing prisoner transport. This ship is capable of carrying a wide variety of missions under its Long-Range Patrol umbrella
  • Independent: With an advanced long-range navicomputer, massive onboard fuel stores for a starfighter, and reacpling the ordnance pod with conformal fuel tanks allowing it to have an even more extreme long range, the Heavy B-wing is designed from the ground up to be flown alone or in small flights without the need for carrier support or basing out of complex fighter bases. The only limiting factor for this ship are the foodstores onboard.
WEAKNESSES
  • Tiny Squadrons: It's a good thing that the Heavy B-wing is designed for independence because her massive size, huge fuel/consumables stores, and modular ordnance slot means that even when she is deployed as part of a carrier group, just 4 of these big, beautiful fighters take up the resources of an entire squadron of 12 average fighters, including when it comes to manpower.
  • Lumbering Bruiser: A ship this big takes a lot of power to get up to speed, and even with that much power it's going to take a while. She may be big and she may even have a little feather in the way she jukes, but don't expect the Heavy B-Wing to be winning any drag races.
  • Loss of Firing Control: The systems on the heavy B-wing are highly complex and even with a full complement require multiple crewmen to be constant multitasking to make sure the fighter is ready to go. A hit that disables the Flight Engineer/Tail Gunner will greatly hinder the ship's defenses against smaller, faster, nimbler fighters, and any sort of incapacitation of the WSO will hinder the ability for many of the systems that make it special, such as the modular ordnance pod/equipment slot.
DESCRIPTION

With the main fleets of the Alliance being tied up in the Galactic North against the Empire and Brotherhood, the Galactic Alliance was in dire need of a small ship capable of policing the soft underbelly of the Alliance, its galactic south which bordered disparate independent systems and which was left a veritable shooting gallery for all manner of pirates, rogues, renegades, terrorists, and other groups of ne'er do well. It was in response to this need that Incom-FreiTek-Koensayr came out with the PTL-B9 "Heavy B-Wing."

Built from the ground up to fly independently or in small groups along the more remote and treacherous regions of the Alliance Border, the Heavy B-wing is armed to the teeth to make sure it's capable of taking on almost anything that the disparate groups of pirates out in the Chaos are capable of fielding, carrying a turbolaser cannon on its keel and complementing it with an array of ion cannons, laser cannons, and an ordnance launcher capable of carrying a big payload of proton torpedoes or concussion missiles.

This heavy armament is complemented by a massive amount of versatility, with the missile pod not only capable of carrying a wide variety of missiles and torpedoes based on the expected opposing force, but also capable of slotting in a variety of special equipment, such as search-and rescue suites capable of finding a life form and delivering much needed supplies or electronic warfare suites for providing cover to other fighters on a mission. It's designed to cover all of the missions one might need from a patrol craft.

  • Advanced Targeting Computer
  • Advanced Navicomputer
  • Mission-Programmable Multi-Function Displays
  • Mission-Programmable Avionics Package
  • Missile Deactivation Transmitter
STRENGTHS
  • Bringers of Destruction: The K-Wing Mark II is at the absolute pinnacle of starfighter firepower, having a formidable armament even with a "clean" loadout (that is, not using any of the hardpoints). When the hardpoints enter into the play, this bomber is capable of bring completely astounding amounts of munitions to the battlefield, more than enough to totally devastate nearly anyone or anything that earns their rage.
  • Versatile: The K-wing II is primarily designed as an Attacker - that much is clear, with its oversized loadout. However, the use of hardpoints rather than integrated launchers for the bulk of its firepower allows the starfighter to use wide array of specialist systems, be they added ECMs, specialized reconnaissance or sensor pods, or even added fuel pods, giving it a wide range of uses in a changing battlespace.
  • Speed is a Defense: While it won't outrun the fastest interceptors in the galaxy, the centerline engine of the K-wing II means that it is capable of amazing speeds for a starfighter of its size and firepower - easily keeping up with many of the front-line snubfighters of the modern day, allowing it to quickly enter the battlespace, dump its stores of munitions on a poor, unprepared enemy, and then speed out of harms way and back to their jump point.
WEAKNESSES
  • Lower Squadron Count: The sheer size of the bomber, coupled with strict maintenance requirements, the massive supply requirements of such a well-armed fighter, and the fuel consumption of such a ship- especially hyperspace-equipped - proscribes squadrons from being formed at their usual numbers, as carriers and bases are capable of carrying, maintaining, and supplying less of these platforms, compared to their peers
  • Loss of Firing Control: The systems on the K-wing are extremely complex, requiring a Weapon Systems Officer to operate the ordnance as well as an astromech to operate the wing-mounted ion cannon turrets. The capabilities of the K-wing would be curtailed to a high degree if either of these roles were to be incapacitated during the course of battle
  • Flying Brick of Death: For all the capabilities of the K-wing mark II, including it's uncanny speed, It's maneuverability is not one of those capabilities. Its high speed and mass gives it a large turning radius and makes maneuvering in a dogfight rather difficult when compared even to comparable fighters - its crew is far better off using its weapons and speed to fend off any threats.
DESCRIPTION

Even in times of relatively peace, it is important for the "good guys" of the galaxy to always be preparing for the next threat, the next possible barbarians which may come crashing through the gates and disturbing the fragile order and peace which the galaxy takes for granted. And to prepare to defend those gates, sometimes it is necessary to employ weapons that can not only annihilate an enemy but take the fight to his own gates and break them wide open. It is towards that end that IFK Inc has produced their newest, and hardest-hitting product to the Galactic Alliance's military market: The BTL-S900 K-Wing II.

The K-wing II trades in some of its hardpoints, as well as the underwings that gave the original its iconic K shape, for an expansive internal bomb bay, as well integrated torpedoes launcher, that give it a massive boost in the amount of firepower it can deploy. Replacing two of its predecessor's gunners with optional payload specialists, it includes an astromech slot internal to the crew compartment to control the wing-mounted ion cannon turrets and provide assistance in plotting high-difficulty hyperspace jumps

Maintaining the high flexibility of its predecessor's hardpoints, the K-wing II provides a wide range of capabilities, but it continues to shine in its capability as a bomber - there's few better options than the S900 when the mission profile includes destroying the enemy.

  • On It's Head: The Pulsar is designed with maneuverability on the forefront, outfitted with a number of maneuvering thrusters as well as two of its main engines placed fore, allowing it to, among other great feats, literally turn 360 degrees almost in its own footprint.
  • Rapid Deployment: The shuttle's internal design allows for quick configuration changes to cater to different mission needs, whether that's deploying troops, medical evacuations, or transporting civilians.
WEAKNESSES
  • Limited Cargo Space: Prioritizing speed and maneuverability, the Pulsar had to compromise on cargo capacity. As a result, it might not be the best choice for missions requiring a vast array of equipment.
  • Firing Arc: The armaments on the shuttle are primarily facing forward, and while the dorsal-mounted turret provides some amount of aft coverage, the ventral and a large portion of the aft sections of the shuttle are complete blind spots for the armaments, meaning a sneaky fighter or speeder could do some damage undetected
DESCRIPTION
A brainchild of the pioneering team at Incom-Freitek-Koensayr Incorporated, the UT-60-K Pulsar represents the pinnacle of shuttlecraft design, harmoniously blending speed, versatility, and tactical precision. Its appearance, sleek and imposing, hints at the capabilities lurking beneath its hull.

The Pulsar's propulsion system is nothing short of revolutionary. With two dominant engines positioned at the forefront, coupled with an array of maneuvering thrusters, it can execute flight patterns that are simply unimaginable for a craft of its size. This design gives the Pulsar an uncanny ability to hover, dart, and rotate with a grace that belies its stature.

Inside, the Pulsar's layout is meticulously planned for rapid action. Able to house up to 12 combat-ready personnel, it ensures that a squad can be deployed into action zones with minimal delay. The versatility of its internal configuration also allows for a quick switch to medical or civilian transport modes, a testament to its adaptability.

In the hands of a seasoned pilot and crew, the Pulsar promises unmatched operational efficiency, be it swift troop deployments, emergency medical evacuations, or agile combat scenarios. However, this efficiency comes with its own set of challenges. Crews must be ever-aware of its limitations and ensure they harness its strengths while remaining wary of potential vulnerabilities.

  • Integrated Astromech Slot: Optimized for E-series EW Astromechs, these droids provide additional technical and electronic support, further enhancing the Cipher's EW capabilities.
WEAKNESSES
  • Dependency on Astromech: While the E-series EW Astromech enhances the Cipher's abilities, it also creates a dependency. While it doesn't negate all of its abilities, being paired with a non-specialized astromech, or the on board astromech being disabled, damaged, or destroyed, heavily handicaps its role as an EW Fighter.
  • Parallax Error: Like most variants of the X-wing, the Cipher has its cannons at the end of each S-foil, which can cause for some serious parallax error if the cannons aren't properly zeroed in. Unlike other X-wing variants, the Cipher has traded in all of its torpedo and missile launchers for its high-tech EW systems, meaning that this zeroing distance must be accounted for even more without a guided weapon to compensate.
DESCRIPTION

The T-65EW "Cipher" stands as a testament to the evolution of starfighter design, with a specialization in electronic warfare. • Adaptive Combat S-foils: The ARC-20's S-foils are engineered for dynamic combat scenarios, capable of switching between configurations for optimal performance. In attack position, they enhance the starfighter's weapon systems and cooling efficiency, granting it high firepower. In flight position, they streamline the craft for superior speed, allowing rapid engagement or disengagement according to battle conditions.
WEAKNESSES
  • Dance of the S-foils: While the ARC-20's S-foils offer it unparalleled adaptability in combat, transitioning between attack and flight positions can momentarily leave the craft vulnerable to enemy fire. This requires pilots to strategically choose when to switch configurations, as the wrong timing could expose critical weaknesses.
  • Electronic Achilles' Heel: Despite its formidable capabilities in electronic warfare, the ARC-20's reliance on sophisticated systems makes it susceptible to specialized enemy jamming and electronic counter-countermeasures. If its electronic veil is pierced, the starfighter's advantage diminishes, especially in the critical moments of S-foil transition.
  • Power-Hungry Beast: The ARC-20's advanced capabilities, including the rapid adjustment of its S-foils and the maintenance of its high-tech arsenal, demand significant energy. Prolonged engagements can deplete its resources, forcing pilots to make critical decisions about power distribution that could impact the starfighter's performance in the heat of battle.

  • Permissions: n/a
  • Primary Source: n/a
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Incendiary
  • Size: Large
  • Weight: Very Heavy
  • Explosive Type: Incendiary
  • Delivery Method: Dropped
  • Effective Range: Average
  • Area Of Effect: Battlefield
  • Damage Output: High
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Thermite combustion: Generates extreme temperatures upon detonation.
  • Proximity fuse: Allows for airburst detonations to maximize area of effect against surface-level targets.
  • Rapid deployment mechanism: Designed for quick release and deployment.
STRENGTHS
  • Fire Starts to Burn: Leveraging a thermite-based incendiary composition, the bomb delivers extraordinary damage through extreme temperatures, capable of obliterating fortified positions, eliminating deeply entrenched enemies, destroying large concentrations of enemies, and clearing out large areas of foliage.
  • Setting the World on Fire: The Purgatory Bomb's design enables a significant area of effect, capable of covering extensive portions of the battlefield with intense thermite-induced fire. This characteristic makes it especially potent against sprawling formations of adversaries, providing unmatched area denial capabilities.
  • Fury of the Bombers: Tailored for swift release from aerial platforms, the bomb's rapid deployment mechanism ensures timely and efficient use in dynamic combat scenarios, offering the Galactic Alliance a highly adaptable weapon.
WEAKNESSES
  • All Has Been Lost: The Purgatory bomb is designed to clear a large area quickly and with extremely potent flames. This can potentially cause significant collateral and ecological damage, and so a commander must be extremely careful before employing this weapon on the battlefield that he would like to occupy afterwards
  • Burning Friend and Foe: This is a battlefield-scale incendiary weapon that spews flaming gel across a truly massive area, capable of burning absolutely everything in the affected zone. Unless one's troops are especially shielded against such a hellacious environment, they would be best advised to use this only at the beginning of an invasion - or as a last resort against an overwhelming enemy
  • We Burn: This is a weapon of immense power and with a wide area of effect - while such a weapon is extremely useful against military targets, mindless hordes, or in clearing out the densely-packed foliage of a planet like Yavin IV or Felucia - using such a weapon on an civilian target or in an urban area is unambiguously a war crime, and any commander who commits such an act should expect stiff consequences both from their superiors and in their standing among the galaxy at large.
DESCRIPTION
In an era where the galaxy enjoys a semblance of peace, the guardians of this tranquility know all too well the price of preparedness. It's a universe where potential threats loom on the horizon, ever ready to disrupt the hard-won order. In anticipation of such challenges, the arsenal of the "good guys" must evolve, not just to meet these threats head-on but to carry the battle to their doorsteps, shattering their defenses. This principle has guided Incom-Freitek-Koensayr Incorporated (IFK Inc) in crafting their latest contribution to the Galactic Alliance's military might: the "Purgatory bomb."

Conceived as a beacon of deterrence, the Purgatory bomb is a marvel of ordnance engineering. Its essence lies not in subtlety but in sheer, unbridled power. Designed to decimate hordes of adversaries—be they swarms of ravenous insectoids on remote jungle planets or relentless undead legions that conventional weapons barely dent—this weapon promises not just victory, but annihilation of the enemy's will to fight. Central to the Purgatory bomb's design is its lethal payload: a Plasticene-Thermite Gel, encapsulated within a durasteel shell robust enough to survive the descent through atmospheric conditions. Upon activation, its proximity fuse ensures an airburst release, dispersing a rain of fire over a battlefield-wide area. This incendiary deluge obliterates entrenched foes, clears dense foliage for troop movements, and transforms the terrain into a no-man's land, denying any advantage the enemy might have leveraged.

Yet, with such power comes responsibility. The Purgatory bomb's indiscriminate fury poses a significant risk to ecological sanctity and civilian safety. Its deployment is a testament to the gravity of the decision to use force, a balance between strategic necessity and the ethical mandate to minimize harm. Thus, its use is carefully regulated, a weapon of last resort when all other options falter. The "Purgatory bomb" is more than a tool of war; it's a statement. It embodies the Galactic Alliance's commitment to defending peace and order against all odds. It serves as a reminder that in the quest to safeguard the galaxy, innovation and power must be tempered with wisdom and restraint.

DESCRIPTION
The IFK MY-0 Buzzard Droid Starfighter is a testament to advanced engineering and innovation of IFK Incorporated, designed to provide advanced capabilities to the Galactic Alliance's Starfighter Corps. It's a mass-produced, unmanned starfighter emphasizing swarm tactics over individual firepower, enabled by the sophisticated STARDI AI system for real-time battlefield adaptation and coordination. Crafted from lightweight durasteel and packed with advanced droid components, each Buzzard is relatively small and agile, equipped with a combination of light and medium laser cannons.

Forgoing the heavy defenses that would be necessary to protect the expensive and depletable pilots of the SFC, or the hyperdrive common to most Alliance fighters, the Buzzard is designed from the ground up to act not as an individual but as the constituent part of a massive whole - focusing on outnumbering its adversaries and defeating them through squadron tactics rather than outgunning an individual fighter craft in one-on-one combat. Altogether it provides a striking new capability for the Galactic Alliance and for IFK's security operations.
