PERSONALITY
To many, Jarva Orkaan could be seen as a walking contradiction. He leads a gang of pirates, yet is wholeheartedly a believer in political and social anarchism. He is at times a merciless marauder, yet is empathetic enough to break the chains of the enslaved. He is brutal, and yet he has a kind of charm that some could find endearing. Despite all of this, he is nonetheless unpredictable and dangerous, with all of his actions being driven by his mere whims.
STRENGTHS
Charismatic: Jarva has enough charisma and charm to inspire and lead a sizeable crew of pirates. This belies a more sinister nature.
Fighter: Having grown up among a band of marauders, Jarva is knowledgeable in several forms of violence. Blades, blasters, you name it.
WEAKNESSES
Anarchist: As one who embraces the ideals of the ancient Nihil, he believes in what he calls "true freedom". A harsh anarchism where he ignores the ideas of governments and lives by the code of "taking what he wishes". Ironically enough, he despises slavers as much he does governments.
Ruthless: Similar to the Ro family he takes inspiration from, this Gungan is willing to do whatever is necessary to acheive his current goals. Including and not limited to murder, torture, and brutality.
HISTORY
Jarva Orkaan's life began on the oceanic moon of Kef Bir, where he was born into a family of Gungan settlers in 864 ABY. Unlike the lush, forested environments their species were accustomed to, Jarva's family adapted to the harsh, sea-swept landscapes of Kef Bir. They carved a niche for themselves by salvaging valuable materials from the ruins of Imperial and First Order ships. This dangerous but necessary trade was the community's lifeblood, teaching Jarva resilience and resourcefulness from a young age.
Tragedy struck when Jarva was only 13. His village fell victim to a brutal raid led by the notorious pirate gang, the Sons of Ro. In a chaotic and devastating attack, Jarva was seized by the pirates. His initial destiny was grim, as he was to be sold into slavery. However, fate had other plans for the spirited young Gungan. Instead of breaking under the harsh conditions, Jarva's resilience shone through. His captors, initially intent on breaking his spirit, instead grew to respect and admire his tenacity and will to survive.
In an unexpected turn of events, Jarva was not only spared from a life of bondage but was gradually indoctrinated into the ranks of the Sons of Ro. His unique perspective and innate leadership qualities propelled him through their ranks, and before long, he emerged as their leader. Under his guidance, the gang flourished, though not without shifting ideologies.
Now, as the self-made leader of the Sons of Ro, Jarva Orkaan stands as a defiant figure against tyrannical authorities of the Galacy. He is also critical to those of the Mawite tribes for straying from the original Nihil ethos, particularly their acceptance of Sith into their ranks, which he sees as a betrayal of their heritage. With his unique background and fierce dedication, Jarva aims to carve out a new legend in the galaxy, one that honors the spirit of the Nihil while forging a new path forward for his band of pirates.
