The Lion King
Meditation Chambers
Heavenheim, Midvinter
Reports on the fall of the mighty Sith Empire came pouring in, more with each passing hour. How the Imperials that once served them rose up and seized power through military conquest of the ancient dark worlds, some of it likely hyperbole due to bias or propaganda. The New Imperial Order may take pride as the primary force to take down this iteration of the Sith, but they always had help from various factions, intentional or otherwise. The Sith Empire was then further weakened when several other Sith cults rose up in rebellion, igniting civil wars within the civil war.
And yet, the long shadow of House Zambrano remains as looming and insidious as ever. His empires have been cast down before, and still Kaine eludes his own destruction only to rise again. Thurion had seen it before, many times.
Meditating upon these events, the veteran Jedi sat on his knees before an idol of his old master; his mentor, and his mother. King and Jedi both, the former honours his ancestors while the latter honours the woman who raised him. Both aspects are equal in all things, and together they sum up his very being. Human and Valkyri. Jedi and King. Balance.
That balance was suddenly shifted when Thurion submerged himself deeper into a meditative trance, his spirit traversing the unending realms of the Force. A dark cloud hung overhead, and he was drawn to investigate. Standing at the edge of it, he pressed his hand against it. Such hatred. Such ruthlessness. Such pride.
Darth Carnifex . The void seemed to react to the realisation, growing in strength.
"Show yourself, Kaine. Your empire is fallen. Your followers are scattered to the winds. But I know it is not the end. Not so long as you draw breath. They may have laid ruin to your empire, but they failed to rid the serpent of its head."
The black void expanded, beginning to engulf the spiritual realm he found himself traversing. Yet his convictions remained strong, and from his own representation there shone a light that challenged the encroaching darkness, fending it off until the surrounding area was equal parts light and dark.
"Show yourself!"
