STRENGTHS
  • Amphibian - The life support systems, electromotive field motors, and hydrostatic fields allow the Miracle One to traverse underwater and remain submerged for an indefinite period of time. In a pinch, this function could be used to hide from pursuing enemy forces or even to initiate a surprise attack!
  • Stealth and Distortion - The Miracle One has a full suite of stealth systems, allowing it to maintain a virtually invisible sensor profile during most operating conditions. It is also capable of remaining concealed against most common anti-stealth sensors, including, but not limited to, gravity sensors, crystal gravfield traps, and mass sensors due to its gravitic modulators, magnetic sensors due to its magnetic field generators, thermal sensors, and to a degree, Force Sense and its derivative powers due to the craft’s Taozin undercoat and the Void Stone integrated into the construction. In addition, the Miracle One benefits from the addition of a Phase Masque, which works to effectively distort the craft's visual and sensory profile. Finally, an advanced ECM suite gives the craft the ability to influence the electromagnetic environment in a given battlespace.
  • Hypermaneuverability - Owing to its upgraded frame and the FAE/S-01 “Pentozali” Agility Array, the Miracle One is an agile craft which is capable of executing dazzling maneuvers at intense speed. This feature is especially beneficial during dogfights, allowing the Miracle One to dance around enemy craft so as to quickly obtain a favorable position in a dogfight. To support its improved capabilities, the craft has expanded tolerances and is no longer susceptible to breaking apart while turning at high speeds, unlike the factory variant of the TIE/IE.
  • Firepower - Owing to its upsized cannon hardpoints, which are capable of fitting medium-sized cannons (rather than just light cannons) the Miracle One has markedly improved alpha strike damage potential over the stock variant.
WEAKNESSES
  • Sensitive Passive Sensors - The passive sensor array on the hull of the Miracle One is an extreme boon to the pilot’s battlespace awareness, especially in conditions where the use of active sensors may reveal the craft’s location. However, they are also very vulnerable, as even glancing blows can destroy or disable the sensors on or around the affected areas. In essence, as the hull takes more hits, the Spyglass’ passive reception array will become increasingly ineffective.
  • Glass Cannon - The Miracle One does not have combat-rated shields. It also lacks anti-Ion and EMP systems. In order to survive, it relies on speed, agility, and stealth.
  • Automation - The Miracle One is supported by a suite of automated processes which govern its targeting systems, stealth systems, power systems, flight control systems, and yet more. In the event that these systems are somehow disabled, whether via EMP/Ion discharge, concentrated slicing, or in rare cases, jamming, the operating efficiency of the craft will be negatively affected.
  • Straight and Narrow - The SLAM Mk. II provides a significant boost to speed and acceleration, but it compromises maneuverability while active.
  • Engine Limits - The Miracle One’s Huabing Engines do not function well in deep space (outside of a star system), forcing the craft to rely solely on its ion engines, boosters, thrusters, and rudders for propulsion in this environment.
  • Void Stone - The internalized Void Stone protects the Miracle One and its pilot from direct applications of the Force. Unfortunately, this means that it can not benefit from friendly uses of it, most notably battle meditation.
  • No Ordnance - The lack of any missile or torpedo armament means that the craft is wholly unable to engage targets beyond visual range. While engaging targets from afar via “sniping” is possible (so long as the cannon(s) used have the necessary range), the lack of BVR capability has negative implications for atmospheric combat.
DESCRIPTION
Issued to Bella upon her commissioning as an officer of the Imperial Navy, the stock TIE/IE Interceptor is an advanced craft only intended to be flown by elite pilots. However, even with its high base performance, Bella knew that more could be pressed out of it. To that end, the craft saw a number of upgrades. In particular, stealth saw a heavy emphasis after Bella’s encounter against stealthy Final Dawn TIEs in the Corellian Trade Spine. However, the craft more or less reflects the preferences of the First United Astral Engineering technicians tasked with modifying it, who at Bella’s direction optimized speed and maneuverability. Modular cannon hardpoints allow the armament loadout to be changed depending on the mission and the preferences of the pilot. The stock sensors were augmented with the addition of the Spyglass sensor module, along with a number of more advanced, anti-stealth sensors. The electronics and control systems were enhanced, allowing Bella to establish a direct neural link to the craft. In this regard, she can fire weapons, control systems, and shunt power with little more than a thought.

However, even with its enhancements, the Miracle One is not without its weaknesses. In spite of the upgraded armament, the craft still lacks missiles, limiting BVR engagement capability. It also lacks combat shields and is generally unable to withstand much in the way of direct fire. Nevertheless, Bella hopes that the Miracle One will serve well as her primary starfighter, defining her as a loyal pilot of the Empire of the Lost.
