Strengths:

  • Advanced WInd Turbine: Advanced wind turbine platform provides for a renewable energy source to power bases, strongholds, or cities. It is a cheap and renewable resource, wind energy requiring no combustion or complicated reactor, generated no radiation or toxic byproducts and required no fuel supply. This wind turbine platform is able to recharge powercells and provide energy options. Solarium Technology provides for a backup and sustainable use of energy through the solarium glasteel and solarium panels that surround the atmospheric filtration station. This is also suited for remote or distant locations.

  • Defenses: Ray and particle shields secure the platform and the materials for the platform and the blades itself are sturdy. Use of Plastiray provides for enhanced Ion, electronic, and EMP protection. Back up generators are available to activate hover thrusters to keep the station aloft should an emergency situation arise.
Weaknesses:

  • Wind Turbines Requires Wind: Wind is required in order to be constant in order to maximize the potential energy production of the massive wind turbines so that they generate power. Unless the weather is permitting, if there is no wind the MTX Wind Farm would be of no use. Areas of high, harsh winds would best benefit from these wind turbine platforms for renewable energy solutions.

Description

To continue MaraTibx's product line of sustainable, renewable energy options, the MTX Wind Farm Platforms were created. Before the advent of interstellar travel and the energies that propelled them; for thousands of years societies gathered energy from their natural resources. The process of providing energy by harnessing the is as old as civilization. Agrarian societies, in general, used wind energy harness by windmills to process food and pump water. As technology evolved; mechanical energy gave way to electric power which could be stored or utilized later.


The MTX Wind Farm wind turbines contain aerodynamic bladed wheels that harvested the energy from wind to provide energy for power or mechanical power used by installations, buildings or forts. Used as a cheap and renewable resource, wind energy requires no combustion or complicated reactor, generated no radiation or toxic byproducts and required no fuel supply.

Regardless, the MTX Wind Farms are used to power remote or distant locations that didn't have a steady supply of fuels or heavy generators or were simply taking advantage of substantial wind resource. Military bases and strongholds in remote locations used wind turbines to provide either primary or secondary power.

They have limited residential quarters, a mess hall, a botanical garden, medbay, and standard features of any atmospheric space platform. There is also a docking bay and landing pads for small craft to land and

Overall, this is two ratings too high. If you'll adjust the ratings, production level, or add significant weaknesses to balance this out please.

Hmm. Would it help if I drop armament to average? Honestly I can’t think of another weakness for a wind platform, so if I drop armament’s rating would that be ok?

Or do you have a recommendation for a weakness? I’d be glad for any suggestions.
 
[member="Saffron"], any combination of the things suggested would work. I do think that dropping ratings, such as the armament to average, would probably be one of the easiest way to go about it.
