APPEARANCE:
"A beautiful young woman entered the castle. Long blonde hair that shone as if it had been spun from gold trailed down her back. She looked like a princess in a fairytale, with a perfectly balanced feminine figure swathed in amber and violet silks, a complexion devoid of any visible flaws and flushed with warm color, and gray eyes framed by thick dark lashes."
"Her voice had not a trace of beauty in it. She sounded like she had been gargling acid."
BIOGRAPHY:
Erictho, the self-titled Witch Queen of Ambria, is a female Shi'ido and Sith Master. Primarily a necromancer, she has sustained herself through the centuries by draining the Force energies of others. She can use this drained energy to reanimate the corpses of the dead. That said, these undead husks are typically mindless fodder, so she must rely on the assistance of the living to accomplish any higher tasks - she is always looking for people willing (or not so willing) to serve her.
One such individual was a very young Messala. Erictho captured him and Errol Aylmer, a small child in his care. Threatening to drain the boy, she convinced Messala to become her slave. Messala used this opportunity to learn her ways, becoming a necromancer in his own right. He eventually killed her, including cutting off her head, and fled Ambria with Errol in tow.
But either Erictho survived this attempt on her life, or she managed to come back from the dead - as she has now returned, though she doesn't seem to be as great as she once was. Her attention is currently divided between trying to rebuild her power base, and seeking a kind of slow revenge upon Messala, mostly by throwing a wrench into his plans and sowing discord among his underlings and colleagues.
