SPECIAL FEATURES
STRENGTHS
  • Energy Aegis - With its norris root-stained phrik-integrum composite armorweave, miniaturized conformal shield projectors, and transparent shield weave, Oola’s bodysuit gives her an incredible degree of defense against energy weapons, up to and including disruptors, electricity, particle beams, lightsabers, and other powerful energy weapon classes.
  • Wallflower - Featuring an integrated Taozin skin nodule, a cloaking device, a camouflage coating, along with other systems, the bodysuit gives Oola an unparalleled degree of stealth, allowing her to effectively hide within plain sight.
  • Fire Dancer - The bodysuit is very resistant to fire and heat.
  • Acrobat - Compared to the bulk of the standard Imperial Crusader armor, mobility was emphasized in the design of Oola’s bodysuit. It allows her to perform swift, acrobatic maneuvers effectively unimpeded, complementing her natural gymnastic talents and agile fighting style.
WEAKNESSES
  • Acerbic Affliction - Unfortunately, acid weapons are very effective at eating through the bodysuit’s protective material to harm the wearer directly, potentially inflicting a host of dangerous effects.
  • Neck Piece - The neck piece houses sensitive electronics, defensive projectors, and other support systems. While resilient, damage to this part of the suit could compromise these functions, leaving Oola deprived of head protection.
  • Surged - The bodysuit is very susceptible to EMP and Ion-based assaults. Said attacks can also severely weaken its defensive qualities, as much of its protective characteristics are derived from the conformal shield projectors and the transparent shield weave. An EMP or Ion-derived disruption could weaken or shut off these critical defensive systems, exposing the weak points in the bodysuit’s design.
  • Bone Chill - So long as its systems remain sealed (and intact) the bodysuit will maintain the Oola’s body temperature (and comfort) in cold environments quite well. Unfortunately, the bodysuit’s ability to defend against cold-based weapons leaves much to be desired. If struck, such weapons will likely inflict severe, freezing effects on Oola’s flesh.
DESCRIPTION
Finding the ICA-1 Imperial Crusader Armor to be far too heavy for her fighting style, Oola requisitioned a protective outfit of her own, to better suit her fighting style. In this regard, Oola’s bodysuit is designed to complement her natural acrobatic talents, being both flexible in its construction and light weight. Of particular note, its protection includes phrik-integrum armorweave and armor plating (on the lower legs), anti-shank cloth, norris root staining, and yet more. These combine to give the bodysuit (and Oola by extension) excellent protection against most common battlefield threats, including energy weapons, kinetics, lightsabers, sonic attacks, and extreme heat.

However, the bodysuit is not without shortcomings. The Transparent Shield Weave is the only protection that covers the fingertips, upper arms, or sternal area, while the head is protected solely by the reactive energy shield projected by the neck piece. Thus, these areas will be exposed in the event that the bodysuit’s systems are compromised, whether by EMP/Ion-based discharge or some other means of electronic disruption.

In turn, the bodysuit leaves much of Oola’s body seemingly exposed (including the sternal area, head, upper arms, and fingertips). In truth, these areas are shielded by the transparent shield weave (or the neck piece), giving the bodysuit a measure of deceptive protection that might catch enemies attempting to target these areas off-guard.

Ultimately, Oola Ven’s bodysuit is intended to provide a high grade of protection for one of the Empire of the Lost’s most elite soldiery, allowing her to act with more confidence, lethality, endurance, and flexibility in the field.
