DESCRIPTION

The REC/MA01 “Rabauld” - Pattern Repulsorcraft was an Armoured Repulsorcraft produced by the Republic Engineering Corporation. The vehicle was designed to operate as a mobile anti-aircraft and weapons platform that would engage hostile aerial targets with their complement of automated weaponry. With a host of automated sub-systems and a semi-sentient droid brain - akin to that of astromech droids - the Repuslorcraft was capable of being piloted by a small crew complement; without sacrificing their combat efficacy.

With several exterior repulsorlift engines and an underbelly anti-gravitic plate, the Rabauld was faster than the average speeder; capable of outpacing their vanguard forces or outrunning more heavily armed foes. However, due to the vast array of weapons that were integrated into the repulsorcraft’s frame, it’s maximum speed was greatly hampered due to the encumbrance placed on the anti-gravitic plating.

Therefore, the “Rabauld” was nimble and heavily armed, making it the perfect vehicle to act as a dedicated aerial interception platform.
