While it is restricted for combat use only, the extremely cheap manufacture of it causes extreme excesses to stock up, and they are often sold at discount prices of up to 90% at black market retailers. Suppliers have been accused of literally giving the weapons away to these merchants in order to free up stockroom.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]Its use on the battlefield is about what you’d expect; serving as a backup tool for when somebody genuinely [/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]has nothing else to use. As such, the gun contains an installed emergency beacon and flare in order to ensure that using this weapon won’t remain a permanent option. Regardless of a person’s skill, the thing is next to useless against armoured foes, and once somebody figures out that the blaster bolts coming from it aren’t all that powerful the suppression powers it possesses become about as useful as you’d expect. But still, it serves its role as a sidearm for [/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]emergency situations [/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]reasonably well.[/SIZE]
