DuSang Insurance also has an office here that process claims, and also trains insurance agents for both speeder and real estate insurance.
- Yun Ma Trading Tower: Yun Ma is the central stock exchange for much of the Varada System and surrounding systems, featuring familiar exchanges such as the Nunindae and the Quaestus, in addition, the Yun Ma is famed for the trading of mineral, ore and other raw materials and refined materials. Yun Ma also boasts a hydroponics firm and the corporate headquarters for Takoyaki Tea the quick service restaurant boasting the best in noodles on the go and tea. Yun Ma Tradiing Tower is a coveted tower for office space as it overlooks the main traffic lanes and offices looking out toward Lightwave Plaza always sell for top credits.
- First Order Naval Credit Union: A banking corporation initially devoted to members of the First Order Navy has recently opened its doors to other branches of the First Order military. FONCU was founded by board members of the First Imperial Bank formerly First Imperial Trust who disagreed with the direction that the company was taking and left Tamanen for Sor Yusan where they founded the bank and as of now FONCU is one of the fastest growing banking companies within the First Empire.
- United Speeder Services: The premiere speeder company throughout the First Order owns and operates the building, which houses several prominent companies including Seinar Fleet Systems and Primo Victorian Shipwright. The USS building also houses the most speeder pads and is a frequent place for visitors to dine as the USS boasts some of the best in fine dining in all of Sor Yusan, although the family owned and operated restaurants located in Lightwave Plaza would beg to differ.
- Lightwave Plaza: Earned it's name from the stream of lights one can see at night when speeders travelling around the main traffic rings create a wave of light. It also boasts some of the highest resolution screens in the largest formats possible. Lightwave Plaza is owned by the First Order State Media, and right above it are offices for the FOSM along with more luxurious office suites. Brandt-Volcata rents out one of these suites for their own purposes, as does San Guinem Textum. Lightwave Plaza is home to home cooking, unique eats and treats as well as Tyanna Square, the Ambient Hex Gardens and leads you down to Pulsar Heights the heart of Sor Yusan as it is home to many of Sor Yusan's governing bodies.
- Gloriana Publishing: Publishes just about anything in any format, it is the largest publishing arm within the First Empire. Gloriana Publishing was made famous for their romance holos and is now expanding into the world of holofilm seeking to purchase property outside of Sor Yusan to build their own studios. For now, the publishing company is focused on promoting their favourite author; Rowan J. Kingsley who has been among Avalonia's Best Sellers for the past two years.
- Afterdark: The latest Synthwave club to be sold to the growing company of Avalonian Nights Incorporated, Afterdark is currently undergoing some renovations. Previously, Afterdark served as an after-hours lounge but lost money when their owner was outed as an Alliance sympathiser. Details on Afterdark's regrand opening have yet to be released, but sources close to the new manage say that the new club should be opened within the second quarter.
Description: Bright lights lead the way to Sor Yusan, it’s the city that never sleeps. There is always work, and there is always a quick credit or two to be made, if you’re willing to work for it. Sor Yusan is busy, whether you’re trading socks at the Yun Ma or heading to Afterdark for a little downtime. A condensed place that now looks to build up instead of out, with at least six levels if not seven levels of traffic including ground - various metro links for getting around the city. Just like any other big city - bright lights isn’t always a great thing, there is the underside to Sor Yusan the nitty, gritty underground of crumbling districts as corporate espionage seeks to undo much of already established businesses in favour of new ones.
History: Built from the ashes of various corporate hubs such as SoroSuub’s old headquarters, Sor Yusan a city with a mix of Sullustans, Bith and Humans strives to be better. In Sor Yusan, you work hard and then you play hard, the city’s history and growth reflects the corporate legacies left behind. The city grew out of the remains of SoroSuub and its corporate history. Corporate success measured in profits, real estate and speeders also meant that those who worked in Sor Yusan wanted to play. Theater became that way to play early on in Sor Yusan’s history establishing what is known as Tyanna Square where theater companies and playhouses build their stages, now Tyanna Square is among the most famous when it comes to the stage and anyone is who is anyone books their tickets in advance.
Playing hard meant playing in more than one way with rackets. Outside of the sprawling metropolis that is Sor Yusan smaller neighborhoods, and towns have sprung up. Keeping corporate hands at bay are the hands of the underworld with ties to cities such as Tamanen on Bavva. Still, Sor Yusan itself prides itself on the value of hard work that if you dream it, believe it and work hard enough - you can achieve it. Going as far as to establish the Sor Yusan Business Academy and the Sor Yusan College of Economics and Trade.
When the First Order swept through, Sor Yusan found itself learning the hardknock lesson of military contracts. Businesses who have connections with the First Empire have now relocated several executive offices and sales offices one of many corporate towers such as the First Order Naval Credit Union tower or the United Speeder Service tower. War meant profits, and if it was a war machine that the First Order wanted - that’s what they were going to get and even now, ever so slowly companies who make, sell or create defense systems, weapons or any form of armament are becoming the priority to work for. And right next to them, healthcare and investing in the healthcare market such as pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies and medical equipment.
Intent: To create additional cities for members of the FO to write from and explore.
