SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Centralized Targeting Hub: The CTH serves as the central processing unit for TAGS. It receives real time data from the ship’s sensors, analyzes incoming threats, and assigns targets for guided missiles. It utilizes advanced heuristic algorithms for threat assessment.
  • Missile Data Link Transceiver: The MDLT is a two-way communication device integrated into each guided missile. It enables the transmission of telemetry data from the missile to the ship and allows the ship to send real-time guidance updates to the missile during flight.
  • Heuristic Data Processing Module: The HDPM is responsible for processing heuristic data gathered from missile flights. It analyzes the performance of different missiles, identifies patterns in enemy countermeasures, and adapts the guidance algorithms accordingly. This continual learning process improves the overall effectiveness of the ITGS.
  • Multi-Spectrum Sensor Array: The MSSA is a comprehensive sensor suite that includes radar, infrared, and electromagnetic sensors. It provides detailed information about the surrounding environment, target signatures, and potential threats, enhancing the ITGS’s ability to make informed decisions.
  • Guidance Control Console: The GCC is the interface used by ship operators to interact with TAGS. It displays real-time threat assessments, allows operators to prioritize targets, and provides an overview of ongoing missile engagements. The GCC also enables manual override for critical decision-making.
  • Real-Time Target Updates: TAGS Constantly updates the ship’s targeting system database based on coming sensor data. It provides real-time information on enemy positions, velocities, and vulnerabilities.
  • Adaptive Guidance Algorithms: TAGS employs adaptive guidance algorithms that can be modified based on the heuristic data received from previous missile engagements. This ensures that the system learns from experience and becomes more effective over time.
  • Data Fusion and Threat Assessment: TAGS fuses data from multiple sensors to create a comprehensive situational awareness picture. It assesses threats based on a combination of sensor inputs improving the accuracy of target identification.
  • Missile Fleet Coordination: TAGS can coordinate the actions of multiple guided missiles simultaneously. It calculates optimal engagement strategies, assigns targets based on priority, and minimizes the risk of collision between missiles.
  • Encryption and Security Protocols: To prevent unauthorized access and tampering, TAGS employs advanced encryption and security protocols. This ensures the integrity and confidentiality of the guidance commands transmitted to the missiles.
  • Emergency Manual Override: Should TAGS not work accordingly, or has been corrupted, workers are able to enact a manual override to shut it down.
STRENGTHS
  • Adaptive Guidance Systems: Capable of adapting to different scenarios and situations.
WEAKNESSES
  • Ion: Should it be hit with an ion blast, will short circuit and shut down.
DESCRIPTION
A proprietary system that functions like most guidance systems, except that it adapts. Adapts to different situations and scenarios. Capable of coordinating a fleet’s missiles the caveat being that they must be within standard range of each other and works only as a ‘focus fire’ method. Otherwise should not be utilized, it has a comprehensive sensor array enabling it to make more accurate calculations for its algorithms.
