Technology Forum Rules

• Fully constructed lightsabers and forcesabers are restricted to a maximum of Semi-Unique Production.​
• The Armor Rating Extreme will require the submission to be Semi-Unique. This armor rating is considered very strong and are usually dealing with unique items that should be restricted to Player Characters only.

Balance Guideline
For technical ratings, start with all values at Average for a Mass-Produced piece of technology. For every increase you should either:

• Reduce the Production value.
• Reduce another rating (e.g. increase Damage Output while decreasing Rate of Fire).
• Provide balance with genuine and significant weaknesses.​

DESCRIPTION
VIRGO is an AI specializing in analyzing and predicting economic trends on a galactic scale. Its focus allows it to formulate plans and projects for Czerka to increase its profits, simply by taking in account sentient nature, current trends and political situations. This narrow focus allows it to excel in these fields, but it is severely lacking in every other field. You won't see VIRGO come up with battlefield tactics or control the security of a corporate facility.

DESCRIPTION
A masterpiece of Sith Alchemy this sword was crafted with standard Sith rituals as many Sith Swords before it, therefore it possesses many of the traits a Sith Sword should have. It is resistant against lightsabers, can ground lightning and deflect blaster shots. But its presence in the Force will warn any Jedi of its wielder's arrival and ruin any attempts of stealth.

Czerka saw that there has been a severe lack of vibroswords on the market and decided to take advantage of this vacuum on the market by launching their own vibrosword line. It is focused on making it cheap, easily repaired and focused on its sharpness. You can find this sword practically anywhere, if you look for it!

DESCRIPTION
Jedi Knight Jan Airik constructed her first lightsaber by traveling to Ilum and collecting her crystal, a brilliantly blue hued Kyber crystal. The hilt was sculpted using various designs reminiscent of her home world, with the added touch of a bifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse, to allow the lightsaber to operate when underwater. This is her most prized possession and always at an arm's reach away in case of danger.

There are times when clearing out a starship or building when an enemy might have settled themselves into a defensive position you are unable to safely clear them out of. The answer to this conundrum has always been the grenade, the simple handheld explosive that can be thrown into the middle of an enemy position to either drive them out or explode with enough damage to incapacitate them.

DESCRIPTION

Vision is the foremost of the senses used by almost all organics across the galaxy, the first descriptor used and the most important sense when it comes to interacting with the world around us. So what can people do when they lose their vision, or never had the ability to see in the first place. It was with this question in mind that Athakam Medtech created the Cy-eye, a cybernetic replacement for your eyes that connected cameras directly to the optical nerve, allowing the implant to avoid any damage done to the eyes.

While large and bulky, the Cy-eye is a cheap and effective implant available to much of the galaxy, providing them with the ability to see when all other options have been exhausted.

DESCRIPTION
Since the advent of nuclear technology and the movement of various species into space, radiation has been one of the pre-eminent concerns of galactic society. Various of these societies have manufactured their own version of radiation resistance boosting drugs, but Pharmstar Industries has standardized it. Many biological systems are unique, with life forms being carbon, silicon, and other based. This has always posed a problem with standardizing medicine, as different biological systems had different needs. Thus, Pharmstar Industries has made a series of potassium iodide based radiation resistance drugs tailors to the base of each form of life. This one is for the majority of the galaxy, which is carbon based.

The carbon based variety has shown to be toxic to silicon based life forms, with a standard dose capable of putting an adult in the hospital. It allows a carbon based life form to resist a large amount of radiation for a 6 hour period with little side effects. Imbibing it too regularly, or in too high a dosage, however, can lead to a carbon based biological system to develop resistance to the potassium iodide that is the base of the drug. It has also been shown to increase the possibility of swollen extremities and has shown to upset stomachs of those with weak systems.
