The Holy Covenant, the calling of the righteous. The bastion of the faithful.
Warriors. Shapers. Zealots. Repentant. The Covenant of The Creator is a consolidation of all these and more. Driven by the light of our True Path we descend with righteous fury and insatiable wrath upon this galaxy. No price of flesh is too great, no river of blood to deep - we will die for the Gods until every star praises the name Yun-Yuuzhan.
The True Path is the religious truth upon which all life within the Holy Covenant - and Yuuzhan Vong culture - is dictated. Guided by the Great Doctrine, the religious holy text of our people, the True Path tells of the Great Creator Yun-Yuuzhan and how he sacrificed his own limbs and organs to create the universe, the other gods, and the Yuuzhan Vong.
In honor of this, Yuuzhan Vong ritualistically sacrifice their limbs and organs - replacing them with biots created by our shapers. We do this in place of using lifeless machinations, all of which are an insult to our generous God's sacred mutilation.
But more than this, the path tells us of our divine purpose as the chosen race of the gods. For those who prove themselves worthy may take the place of the lesser gods - so that they may ascend to greater godhood.
The True Path tells us that this galaxy has been gifted to the Yuuzhan Vong in exchange for its cleansing of infidels and heretics. While our last invasion failed, The Holy Covenant believes that by recovering our lost technology and punishing the traitors of our people that this galaxy will become our new paradise.
The sole purpose of our Holy Covenant is the completion of our righteous war against the infidels and the heretics. This war has several goals - all of which shall absolve the race of our past failures and sins. Rallied by the cry "Yun'tchilat Si!" [The Gods Will It!] the warriors of the Holy Covenant press ever forward toward our goals.
These goals are completed through the leading of great Holy Crusades by those given the blessing of The Supreme Overlord. These goals include:
Reclamation of Relics: Our technology, a gift of the gods, has been stolen by infidels and hoarded by heretics. These gifts - these relics - cannot be allowed to stay in unworthy hands. All biots taken by the unworthy must be destroyed or retrieved at all costs.
Conquest of Holy Lands: Zonama Sekot, Coruscant [Yuuzhan'tar], Edusa; these lands and more are Holy Sites of great importance to our people - places of great events during our first invasion. Those who retake them are sure to be forever favored by the Gods.
Planting of The Last Seed: The second and last seed of our Motherworld has landed into our grasp. It is our divine duty to plant it among the stars at the center of this galaxy - so the Gods may rule from it eternally - with us, their humble servants, at their side.
Final Conquest: The Gods will accept nothing less than the complete dominance of their chosen people over all infidels and heretics.
The Force is an abomination, an affront to the Gods and the weapon of heretics - and its unfortunate taint has infected our pious people. After the First War, the Jeedai Taint began to be observed among some of our young. The answer at first was simple, the young were sacrificed and their blood spilled in name of Gods.
But this method did not invoke the mercy of the divines and the taint continued to spread. So, in his infinite wisdom, Supreme Overlord Krahl Shai beseeched Yun-Yuuzhan for an answer to our prayers.
The answer was The Arbiters;
The Arbiters: Taken at first sign of the taint, Arbiters are those who have the wicked powers of The Force. Their mothers are sacrificed, their blood poured upon the child in an elaborate ritual to pray for the salvation of our people. From that moment on, the child becomes an instrument of The Supreme Overlord and The Gods.
Tasked with suicidal missions, Arbiters seek to atone for the sin of their birth through death in the name of Yun-Yuuzhan. Some hunt force users in the galaxy, others lead great holy crusades and some beg for the chance to make suicidal attack runs on enemy fleets.
The Supreme Overlord bestows all said missions, as the Arbiters are eternally indebted to his divine wisdom. It is believed that through unwavering, suicidal service that they will atone for their misbirth and be welcomed by the Gods.
