The aim of the Second Triumvirate is to provide an eceentric and different experience on Chaos for characters & writers. Based out of the fictional Ferentis system at the literal edge of the galaxy, newcomers can find themselves exploring strange locals and encountering foreign souls who have stories to tell. Or perhaps you'd like to be those foreigners? We have three unique races to chose from if you're interested in creating a character who's lived in the Triumvirate their entire lives, ready to explore the chaos of the new galaxy. The choice is up to you, but the Triumvirate stands by to help in deciding where you'd like to fit into our narratives! Below is a FAQ of questions we feel might be asked oftenly, so if you need clarification, please check there first!
What happened to the First Triumvirate? Why are you the second?
Good question! The 'First Triumvirate' wasn't a Chaos faction, but the first iteration of this faction ICly, which lasted from roughly 3701 BBY right up until the Gulag plague crippled it. Once the 400-year Darkness ended, the 'Second Triumvirate' rose in 804 ABY. Capiche? So basically the name is just an extra layer of lore. You can simply call us 'the Triumvirate' if it's easier.
Are Sith/Jedi welcome? Light Side or Dark Side?
If you couldn't tell by our category, we are light-sided. Jedi are certainly welcome as they would not be perceived as a threat by the Triumvirate & would find good roleplay with the Labyrinthian, our Force order. But unless you're suppressing your evilness, Sith would not be permitted in Triumvirate space & the Labyrinthian would see Sith as enemies to kill to protect Confracta & the Triumvirate.
How can my character interact with the Second Triumvirate?
Glad you asked, random Writer #12953! The Triumvirate has recently made contact with the rest of the Galaxy -- They are so remote they have never managed this before in their entire history. This opens up a wide avenue of roleplay opportunities; the Second Triumvirate seeking outside help with local problems, curious people coming to investigate the new disturbance in the Unknown Regions that has suddenly appeared, etc etc. Or, hey, we can come to you. Whatever works.
Will you ally with my super-cool faction?
Maybe! We'd prefer to discuss such things either privately between our staff and yours or in our discord with our members to get all input. At the moment, however, we are not necessarily interested in becoming hardline allies to Major Factions.
Do you plan to go Major?
No. At the time of writing this, we have zero plans to go Major. This could change in the future depending on the Triumvirate's reception on Chaos and/or how large we grow.
Can I sell you stuff from my company?
Sure, if you can tolerate [member=Dainivhir Valeport] trying to sell his stuff to you too.
