Titles, Powers, and Holdings

Titles:

• Royalty
  God-King: It is widely known that ever since their rise to power once more Kaine and his bloodline have ascended to divinity, with Kaine himself being proclaimed the first God-King in nearly eight hundred years since the reign of Solomon the Great. The God-King is the highest political authority, he is also the Lord of House Zambrano. The God-King in the Pacanth Empire holds absolute and unlimited authority in his domain, and is worshiped as a god.
  
• High Consort: The title of the wife of the God-King.
  
  [*]God-Prince: The God-Prince or "Divine Successor" is the equivalent to a royal Crown Prince. They are the heir to all lands, titles, and powers held should the God-King pass away. Until the death of the current patriarch, the God-Prince is the second most powerful individual in the Zambrano Dynasty.
  [*]​Prince/Princess: ​All subsequent Zambranos legitimized by the God-King who are not the crown heir attain the titles of Prince and Princess respectively. They are entitled to many of the powers held below with exception of the Divine Veto.

• ​High-Lord: The designated governor and leader of a planet's Imperial Court, the High-Lords are the appointed leaders of each planet in the Crownlands. They have direct political and military control over their territory, they answer to the God-King and his Prime Designate.

Powers:

Sovereign Immunity: The entire clan of legitimate Zambranos possesses Sovereign Immunity. They are completely immune to prosecution on any level regardless of the laws broken.

Sovereign Privilege: The Zambrano Family have the power to withhold information from legislature and the public in order to protect national security. The exact definition of national security is also defined by House Zambrano.

Divine Veto: The God-King and Lord of House Zambrano has the power of the Divine Veto. Once it is issued in regards to any and all legislature that is proposed, regardless of what it is the veto immediately denies and rejects it. The veto of the God-King who is the highest political authority of the Pacanth Reach cannot be overruled. The only thing that can overrule a veto is the word of the God-King himself.

Sovereign Exemptions: The Zambrano Family is given the power of Sovereign Exemption. This means that they are completely exempt from paying any and all taxes and tariffs on local, state, federal, and galactic level within the Pacanth Reach. However they can pay these if they so choose.

Divine Tribute: The Zambrano Royal Treasury is annually filled due to divine tribute. The God-King who is also the Ecclesiarch of the Church of Canthar, as well as a deity of worship is paid an untaxable amount of tribute derived from the massive tithes the church receives annually.

They also receive a small percentage of the Pacanth Reach taxes and fundings placed into the treasury for their exclusive personal use. The percentages are all adjusted by the God-King.

Government in the Zambrano Monarchy​

The Zambrano Monarchy possesses somewhat of an enigma when it comes to their system of government. The government is a mixture of an absolute composite monarchy that has theocratic elements. The Empire isn't ruled by a caste of priests in the name of a god, rather it is directly ruled by that God-King and his family who have his divine blood coursing through their veins. In this system of government the sovereign or the God-King is the absolute ruler and the supreme word of law for everything within his lands. In addition to this system the governments political regime by extension has very deep seated ethnocratic elements with the Epicanthix people specifically.

The top of the ladder in the government is the God-King who possesses his own advisory council called the Conclave of Canthar where. Each individual planet is ruled by an Imperial Court that serves at the pleasure of the High-Lord. The only exception to this rule is the world of Fornow which has a different structure in comparison to the other worlds in the Pacanth Reach. The Iron Horde of Fornow is ruled by the Warchief of the Iron Horde who sits as the planetary ruler, and acts in role as the planets High-Lord.​

The Divine Doctrine​

The Divine Doctrine are a series of rites and general rules when someone formally encounters a royal member of House Zambrano, especially the God-King. These are as follows:

• Encountering the God-King...
  ​Kneel immediately and arise only when he commands it.
• Never look the God-King in the eyes when talking to him, he is without equal.
• Never address the God-King in a first person sense, when speaking to him always refer to him in a third person sense.
• Only ever speak to the God-King when spoken to, and when the God-King asks your opinion or elicits you to respond.
• Only address the God-King in titles such as "Your Excellency", "Your Eminence", "Most Holy", "Holy One", "Divine One", "My Liege", "My Lord".
• The God-King is to never be called by his first name while in his presence.
• Never willfully turn your back on the God-King for any reason unless it is to leave his presence.
• Never interrupt the God-King while he is speaking.
• The God-Kings word is law and cannot be overruled, any and all commands the God-King may give should immediately be followed, even if they violate these procedures.
• When leaving his presence immediately thank the God-King for his kindness and patience in hearing you out, bid him well wishes and leave.
• Penalties for failing any and all of these are typically gauged on the offense made, but are at the discretion of the monarch.

OOC Note: This is a formal nobility method of interaction. You don't need to use this with Kaine and he won't strictly enforce it. Merely a note of reference.
