A man stands at attention in the midst of the rows of gravestones.
His chest is adorned with medals, pinned to his dark gray suit.
His face, bespectacled, wrinkled, weathered with time.
He stops at one grave, crouching down to place a ceremonial cap at the base of the grave, blue, emblazoned with the Starbird of the Alliance.
The old man squints his eyes to get a better look at the inscription.
"COLONEL WILLAM J. MELOSER
PATRIOT,
LEADER,
SOLDIER"
The dull clinking of a distant flagpole and the light breeze in the air are all that accompany Leebus and his thoughts.
Closing his eyes, he begins to remember....
