How would a reborn Jedi Master fit in with the crowd when their original time was ended with the Clone Wars? Would he just be able to "flit his way in like a golden butterfly", so to speak, or would I need to make it work in another way?

Why magic of course. Space magic. But seriously though, most of the people here are here to "fight the good fight." To defend those that can't defend themselves. To help protect people from oppressive governments. Things of that nature. It seems fitting to me that a Jedi from the Clone Wars would be here.
How he hears about The Vanguard, and comes to join them is probably something for you and [member="Atheus"] to discuss.
