HISTORICAL INFORMATION
A Scar Hound veteran of the Second Great Hyperspace War, Wirehead's renown among the Tribe came from his unnatural ability to sniff out technology. Much like a hound -- he is able to detect, track and locate technology. This seemingly gods-given gift was in reality his innate ability for Mechu Deru due to his Force sensitivity.

After the Maw fell defeated to the Alliance in the War, Wirehead was discovered by Sinestra Sinestra in her quest to find DarkNode. He was given a purpose by the Dark Jedi to serve in the Crucible as a means to achieve the Three Avatars' prophecy of bringing the galaxy to ruin and rebuilding it from the ash.
