News CORE EXAMINER FASHION ALERT: DEFYING GRAVITYI hope you have a legal team better than Lysander’s.- Corazona von Ascania
The following is a journal kept by Kalanda Tishire. Unlike recorded journals, this one was written in it by hand. It’s cover is ragged and worn, suggesting several years of use.
First Entry (851 ABY): Dear Diary, least I think that's how it's supposed to start? Anyways, I managed to swipe...
All men are not born equal.
This is the unifying truth of The Aristocracy, those who are of the higher class. I've noticed in my time ruling Illyria and even in my earliest days on Serenno that the members of the elite seem to believe that this is a truth that applies to them indiscriminately...
To Doctor Adrian Vandiir,
Lord Prospero,
Dark Councillor of Scientific Advancement,
Lord of Progress,
And my Renowned Cohort and Landlord,
I hope that this correspondence reaches you in a timely manner and in good health. It is my deepest regret that I have been unable to truly keep up with the...
Love has ever been a controversial subject. The Jedi Code of the glory days of the Galactic Republic teaches us that "there is no emotion, there is peace," and that "there is no passion, there is serenity". It seems to suggest that emotions of any kinda are prohibited, and that being passionate...
Hah! Got you with the title, didn't I? No, this isn't that type of novel question, but a literal question pertaining to my current novel project.
I've been at a mental impasse for a while and it pertains to a choice that one of my main characters must make. Let me outline it a little bit...

Mand'alor, also titled in Basic as Mandalore, is the chosen title of the leader of the Mandalorian people, it's culture, and sometimes their homeworld, Mandalore. The title, in their native tongue, translates to basic as Sole...
OFFICE OF THE MINISTER OF WAR
Across Confederate Space, all news channels and broadcasting stations of similar nature cut away to a scheduled message from the Office of the Minister of War for the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Across these channels, a live message was sent. Circling...
((Continuation of the story started here and continued here and here. Told from Kyriaki's point of view))
“It seems that some of the xenos – just a small, but dangerous minority – have taken my unending generosity for granted. Shameful,” Eisen declares with no small amount of camp. “They are...
Personal Tome of Vora Kaar
Musings of Sith, Jedi, and their connections.
Sith and Jedi are borne of the same cloth.
While accounts vary in naming, as well as the time in which it took place, very old findings have produced results that have given me a better understanding of why the modern...
Journal Entry: #7
Location: Home
Subject: Personal Reflection
I can't shake the thought that most of the people, the friends and the family that Lori and I had grown up with, are gone today. My father spoke the name House Arenais as though it wasn't just the few of us actually living under...
Credits to Romi Jade and Khonsu Amon for the template.

ok.
Over the past 7 months SJO has been undergoing a narrative change. To those that haven't been following, this name change must seem so out of the blue xD To prevent the predictable undercurrent of confusion, let me state here and now what's brought us here, what's changed, and what the future...
So, I noticed something during the great Invasion Debate. Lot of people talking about how large factions were pointless because planets under their influence were never used again and nobody ever developed them again. Much of the discussion on smaller major factions was about how it might...
G R A D U A T I O N
This is the first graduating class of this Military Academy. You did good. I know, not exactly what you were expecting from a Grand Admiral? I won't lie to you, there will be a lot of things I will do that you will not expect. And that is perfectly normal. Why? Because...
