The Ashes of an Empire have a lesson to teach, and we have learned it well: A beast with one head, however formidable, can be decapitated. Money was the tool our enemies used to bring down the Empire. We bled gold, and nearly died. Nearly. Survival brought wisdom. An Empire with many heads, many hearts. Our foundations of gold are laid in many bricks. No single brick removed can topple us. Upon this foundation stand many soldiers, marching forward to a singular purpose. Together, we shall reach out our hands to bring needed order to the cosmos. This is our gift to the galaxy. There is weakness in you. Confusion. Dedication to misguided dogma. Formed after the economic collapse of the Empire of the Lost, the ISA is a technocratic-authoritarian meritocracy. A government led by experts, primarily from the military, intelligence, and government sectors, who rise to power based on their skills and accomplishments rather than family connections or political influence. The system is technocratic, meaning decisions are made by individuals with proven expertise, ensuring efficiency and capability. It is also authoritarian, with centralized power in the hands of the High Prefect, who holds near-total authority but is kept in check by the Council of Prefects, military and intelligence leaders, and governors. The government operates as a meritocracy, where individuals are chosen based on their reputation and achievements, ensuring that only the most qualified rise to leadership. This structure was created to prevent the Sith from ever ruling over the Imperials again, rejecting their oppressive control and placing leadership in the hands of those who have proven their worth. The ISA maintains strict control to guarantee stability while ensuring that leadership remains competent and capable.

We have many opportunities that writers can enjoy. You can choose to be the backbone of the Imperial Sector Authority's military might and join the Imperator Corps, an organized, disciplined, and highly trained army responsible for defending ISA-controlled planets, spreading authority and order, and leading planetary assaults. Or would you instead command the stars as part of the Authority Navy; operating with a fleet designed for both rapid offensive maneuvers and relentless defensive standoffs, asserting authority across contested space.
