The Seswenna Sector has served as a major commerce hub and center of trade in the southwest corner of the Outer Rim for centuries, sitting on the intersection of several hyperspace routes including the Rimma Trade Route, the Hydian Way, the Lipsec Run, and the Yankirk Route. In addition, Eriadu, the primary planet in the sector, is home to the famous (or infamous) Tarkin family. The family's patriatch, one Vandar Tarkin, has begun massing forces using his resources as former Viceroy of Eriadu in the Confederacy, in a bid to establish a solid, sovereign empire to rule the sector so it does not become a plaything or a galactic stepping stone. Modeled after the Galactic Empire, albeit on a much smaller scale, the Eriadu Authority seeks to keep the fate of Eriadu in the hands of Eriaduans.
