The Order of the Phoenix is an organization comprised of both Dark Side, and Light Side users. The members of the Order of the Phoenix have found the codes of the Jedi and Sith to be against their personal values, or simply wrong for them due to various reasons. Even Non Force Users are invited into the Order of the Phoenix. The eventual goal of the Order of the Phoenix is to render both the Jedi and the Sith Factions obsolete. The Order of the Phoenix values keeping it's involvement secretly, and as such, will not publicly play it's hand. Officially the organization is known as "Phoenix Industries Ltd", but that is just a cover so it can keep it's real purpose a secret.

The Order of the Phoenix is an organization that does not agree with the philosphies of either Jedi or Sith. They believe that both approaches to the Force are wrong, and need to be replaced with something more beneficial to the galaxy at large.
