The Trade Federation is a corporate conglomerate primarily operating in the Braxant Run however maintains a presence that spans vast swathes of the Galaxy. Re-founded in its current state by reigning Viceroy Gat Tambor in 858 ABY, the Trade Federation made its name initially by providing the wealth of warfighting material to the New Imperial Order and Galactic Alliance during the Third Imperial Civil War whilst also acting as the central control for many governments utilizing the Trade Federation Credit. In the wake of the Empire's collapse, the Trade Federation seeks to regain its once dominant presence over the lawless Outer Rim, sustaining a pseudo-government and active defense force to protect its assets whilst seeping its talons into a volatile Galactic market.
