Description: Dorn Company was made as part of the Planetary Defense Army proposal. As the need for defensive troopers were needed to defense First Order space, while the stormtroopers were out gaining new territory. Army Command saw that Engineers would be a good asset since in a defensive role they can be used to make trenches, weapon emplacements, bunkers, etc. This unit was made in response to this need this way the rest of the troopers could feel some safety. Though the defense army are trained they are not the elite like stormtroopers who were trained at birth. Most of these troopers are volunteers, from the planet they are stationed on most of the time. This however doesn't mean the Defense Army gets itself into more offensive combat, as Dorn Company has served during the Rebellion on Kaeshana.
