500 posts, lets go! [Azurine feedback]

Spitfire Soul, Heart of Gold
Hello everyone!

What a milestone, we've hit 500 posts with Azurine. It came a little slower than I might have liked, but at the same time it's been quite a journey! So, now I believe it's time for some feedback on how things have been going.

What do you like? What do you dislike? Are there things I've done that you believe can use improvement, or are there things about the character that you want to see done more often?

All I ask for is that everyone is respectful, not just to me but to others who reply. That being said, let me have it guys!

Some threads that I am particularly proud or fond of thus far:
- Everyone Was Kung-Fu Fighting (Older, Faction): Azzie's first public introduction to the GA, coming in with a bang by fighting with Aris Noble.

- The Best Medicine (Older): Following the Alliance defeat at Tython and Azzie's first major battle since being pulled from centuries in stasis, she has an encounter with Thurion Heavenshield who teaches a valuable lesson.

- The Rivers Gift (Older, Faction): Azzie goes to the spring source of the light side nexus on Ukatis for better healing and understanding, and is forced to face one of her bigger fears in the process.

- Spill The Tea (But Not On Me!): Following their first meeting at the Jedi Ball on Dantooine, Azzie and Aadihr meet at a tea shop to talk.

- Horns of Freedom (Faction): Azzie aids in the liberation of her homeworld after 900 years of not knowing the planets fate.

- Snowball Jedah (Faction): Azzie, Corazona, Raiya, and Thea take on an ancient ice witch who has frozen Jedah. PC kill thread.

- Lingering Scars: Azzie attends a healing lesson that doesn't quite go as expected.

- We Need To Talk...: Aadihr confronts Azzie about the distance between them.

- The Metropole (Ongoing, Public): Azzie organizes a Ladies Night for herself and some Jedi/padawan friends.

- The Road Less Traveled (Ongoing): Azzie has a heart to heart with her master Valery Noble in the Room of A Thousand Fountains.

- Technologic - Dread (Invasion): Azzie leads a small strike team to infultrate the Mors Mon and sabotage it's system from within, leading to her capture by Darth Carnifex.

- Captivity and Disobedience (Ongoing): Kaila Irons confronts Azzie in her cell.

- Dust in the Wind (Ongoing): Azzie's shown a confusing moment of kindness in captivity by Kirie.

- Cursed To Die (Ongoing, Trigger warning for dark themes): Azzie is tormented by Carnifex.

Azurine has been a treat.

It's refreshing to see another rebel era cryobaby, with the twist being that she was much younger than Jonyna was when she went in the ice, and thus is much more inexperienced.

As a fellow rebel cryobaby, there's a lot to dig into with Azzie. Her broken dyad, her homeworld being freed, her rebellious tendencies and headstrong approach.

I'd love to see where she goes from here. Chaos writers love their trauma, but I hope Azurine has only sunshine and rainbows in her future.

You know how much I adore Azzie, but I can never overstate it. She is such a well rounded character with incredible depth that blows my mind. Her development, though I was a little late to the party in following, has been amazing to see, and as I catch up with older works I only find I love that development more and more.

She's the biggest sweetheart. Her natural need to care and fight for what's right is so beautifully captured in your writing, and her bubbly, fiery personality is so infectious. It's impossible not to love her. I stand by what I said about her being one of my favourite characters on the board right now.

As her writer, you continue to blow my mind. I learn a lot from all your posts, in how you treat Azzie, describe her experiences and interactions with her environment. The diversity of moods you can capture is astounding. It's inspiring.

You're killing it. Azzie is killing it. And I'm glad to be able to write with you!

I've definitely become an Azurine fan after reading a couple threads! not just ours but I love it a lot

I know you have big plans for her so sorry in advance if this is smth you already plan to explore either during or probably after her next character arc, but the level of anger she feels despite being a Jedi fascinates me, and I'd love to see how that might conflict with other Jedi and especially how it affects her light side powers given that, to my understanding at least, those negative emotions can weaken one's light sided powers and vice versa especially if unchecked(and there does seem to be a lot of anger from what I've read.)

I just personally think it's an interesting conflict in any star wars story and I'd love to see how it affects her!
Mind you I've never written a proper Jedi before and I'm also a little late to the party, so take it with a grain of salt <3
