Soliael took the embrace, though of course he did not return it. Such a thing was not unwelcome, just an oddity that he did not really understand. Affection was not really something that occurred within his family, at least not at all commonly.
When she bade him to enter Soliael stepped inside with calm practiced steps. It was the first time he had been in the room, and he inspected it with a careful eye. He noticed a few particulars, gazing at them and studying them. He truly never had been to Aerins homeworld, and he found himself quite curious as to the nature of their culture. Aerin called this room fit for a King, indeed she had called it similar to what he had.
Something piqued in his mind, an oddity.
“You have met your King?” It had never occurred to him to ask after Aerins past. So many people came to Exocron, to Moross, to leave their past behind. He had never thought to question Aerin about it, simply leaving it at what she had told him.
Now however as he stepped onto the tower opening besides Aerin, he found himself interested.
