I just realized I've been here for a month and didn't do one of these to introduce myself to the community at large! However, if you know me at all, which some of you do now, you know this is unsurprising as I was busy making sweet, sweet delicious words. Anyway, I am getting sidetracked.
Salutations one and all, I am The WP, it stands for The White Project which is the closest thing I have to an internet handle, do we still call them handles? Anyway, I don't go by that really so you can just call me Jake. I've been here for about a month now, just over a month I think, and I play this grumpy old mercenary named Sol. People seem to like him but who am I to judge?
Now I'll just share a bit about myself. I've been forum RPing for about two years since I didn't know it was a thing until about two years ago. But I've been writing and role-playing most of my life so I am not terrible at it. I write a lot, I use Grammarly and my last progress report said that it had to check fifty-three thousand words last week, not a brag since I can't say if any of those were good but hey if you can't have quality right? I only bring it up to highlight that I love to write and I am usually eager to do so, so if you start a thread with me you'll rarely be waiting on a post long!
What else? I am on a few other RP sites besides Chaos, I even run one so make sure you tag me if/when you post to me cause I don't always see every post being made. I like pretty much every kind of scene you can imagine action, mystery, social, romance, adventure, and pretty much everything else though I do take my character into consideration when choosing a scene. My only big thing is, like most people I think, I like a lack of OoC salt. If we are ever threading together and you have a problem, let me know if we can solve it amicable OoC that's fine. If not let's just end it before we start getting into a fight about whose imaginary space wizard or badass mercenary is tougher yeah?
Well, I think that is enough from me, I feel like I've given you all a feeling for the kind of writer I am and all that, so yeah nice to meet you all! I look forward to many more awesome threads from all you talented lovely writers! Oh, last thing Canadian, Eastern Time Zone, it comes up sometimes.
