A Blaze in the Endor Sky [First Order Dominion of Endor Hex]

Allies: First Order
Enemies: Ssi-Ruuk
Objective: Create an Ewok reserve (BYOO)

"Some will be interested in local Ewok crafts. However, we will prohibit the sale of high-profile historical items"

"That will have to be subject to tariffs, too. We do not want another repeat of Jiroch-Reslia, where the Tunroth accused us of desecrating their heritage for commercial uses"

"<Jiroch-Reslia?>"

"But enough about Jiroch-Reslia. The point of the Ewok Preservation Fund is to ensure the safeguard of the Ewoks and their cultural assets"

Jiroch-Reslia was an attempt at transforming the Galactic Cemetery into a theme park, powered by a dark-sided Force-nexus, and where the blackmailing attempt made it cost twice as much as the initial cost of building the first few rides and the nexus itself. It was billed as a theme park touting thrills guaranteed or money back, and the Tunroth didn't realize at the onset that many people who got their money back were either immune to mind-affecting Force-powers or dark-siders. But no such thing would be happening on Endor. There were no Knights of Ren willing to exploit the slaughter of Ssi-Ruuk to build a dark-sided Force-nexus. But the Ewoks were rather touchy when it comes to their lifestyle and the safeguard of their cultural assets. The Star Tours of old might have been mismanaged, but at least they made it a point to preserve the cultural assets: Virginie is taking a page out of that book pertaining to how they operated these Star Tours products called the Moonlight Cruise and the Endor Express to begin with.

"Hail Seiger!" Rausgeber replied, his orders were simple, and yet eloquent. There was a certain dignity that came with protecting other ships from enemy fire. It was the most dangerous of all jobs, but Carlyle then knew what it felt like to have that protection. There was a great adrenaline rush that came with playing defence. "Alrighty, helmsman, how long now?"

"Thirty seconds." The Helmsman replied.

Carlyle braced himself for the impact that always followed a reemergence into real space. Rather than look, an order was already barked from behind shielded eyes. "Scanners, what do you read?" He asked.

"All ships are out and in positions!" An ensign called. "Allied ships are under heavy fire from a large fleet."

"Comms, what do you hear?" Carlyle barked.

"Sir, all ships are asking one thing," Comms replied in a calm, almost suave voice.
"And what would that be?" Carlyle asked.

"Where to shoot." Comms replied with a smirk.

"Concentrate all fire on their corvettes, we'll sink the bastards! For Seiger Ren!" Carlyle bellowed.

Several knights followed him, undoubtedly tracking the marks left in the ground by his boots. He was alright with that, as they did not have such a massive advantage in numbers anymore – plus he could lose them the moment his feet found a convenient rock. Without a map to show him the way and knowing no better than to chase after a powerful presence in the Force, Veles wandered the large cave system practically blind. What monstrosities and beasts drawn to this place by the artifact, he did not know – but sensing the presence grow stronger, the Darth braced himself for whatever trials awaited down the darkest pits. The prospect of battling his way through corrupt animals did not frighten him; it was the possibility of angering Darth Vader’s lingering spirit that sent shivers down Veles’ back.

Lost in the cavern system, Veles was soon forced to crawl after picking a wrong turn. Solid rock wanted to crush his back and the tight tunnel seemed to be a death trap. Once it became practically impossible to turn around and creep back, Veles had no other option than to place a bet against death and force his way forward, classic Sith survival instinct and cybernetically enhanced body giving him the strength he needed to battle the black hands of desperation gripping his heart. In this pitch black hole, he could do nothing more than advance forward, dragging himself across razor sharp rocks in the cold, enclosed space. It felt like he was deafened by his powers for the longest time – except he could hear the slow shuffle his body produced.

Reaching forward again, his hand touched nothing, revealing enough empty space for him to finally escape what he momentarily believed to become his eternal resting place. Freed from the tomb, Veles pushed himself out, his body thudding as it hit the ground under the crevice he had crawled through. More sounds of running water reached him – and higher humidity, too. Vader’s signature sang through the cavers louder than before and Veles followed, sensing it to be closer. The first few rocks crunched beneath his boots until he erased the sound and crept through the overwhelming shadows, so intense they almost felt alive.

Greifen Ren nodded as Perth inquired about the ancient Emperor Palpatine. "The same," He confirmed. "He communes with the worthy. When you have learned to embrace the Dark Side and meditate on him, he may yet seek you out."

He continued walking placidly while she asked him questions. Naturally she was inquisitive - as anyone would be upon hearing the call of the Dark Side for the first time, and the promise of power it offered. But that power had to be tempered with purpose.

Greifen stepped over a rock. "We are here to retrieve the armor of Darth Vader, because we Ren understand the power of artifacts. Look around. That the armor found its way into this cave is no accident. You being here is no accident. It is all the will of the Dark Side."

When they stopped, the Ewok began a sort of strange ritual - was it a local custom? Nevertheless, Greifen was suspicious. Blood magic was a potentially dangerous exercise, as there were many untold consequences to using it. The spirit world was not something to be trifled with lightly, as malign spirits could find their way to this realm via these strange incantations - and how could he know what purpose this Ewok was going to use their blood for? Ashen Ren evidently sensed the same danger, as she seemed to be looking toward her peers for approval.

Greifen held up a hand. "Blood magic is dangerous," He told the Ewok, and then turned to his fellow Ren. "We do not know what forces could potentially find their way to our realm through this practice, or worse, bind themselves to you. I implore you not to give your blood to this creature."

Greifen Ren was about to continue on, by himself if need be. The rest of the cave would hold untold challenges, including a Gorax. The armor of Darth Vader would only be claimed by a worthy individual. He would get the armor through his own power of the Force or die trying. Better the enemy he knew, than the one he did not.

"<How many flights would that represent?>"

"I understand it carries implications as to how many people will go to the Ewok reserve on Endor, but 400 flights a day, with an average of 200-250 people onboard"

"400 flights a day? Where do these flights come from?"

"Today's Star Tours operates a galaxy-wide network of destinations. But most flights are expected to come from destinations in First Order space"

If the Moonlight Cruise and the Endor Express promised 400 daily departures between them, it would seem that, by 4 ABY, it existed pretty much only to serve Endor routes from JanFathal, and with much lower frequencies on other routes: Polis Massa, Geonosis, Bar Neth, Christophsis, Cron Drift, Dagobah, Kessel, Hoth, Bespin, Praya, the Edge of the Galaxy, Yavin IV, Tatooine, even Coruscant. Today's Star Tours would get 400 daily flights to Endor but said 400 flights would come from a variety of worlds, with hourly departures from Dosuun, Eriadu and Hosnian Prime, daily departures from multiple First Order worlds as well as Arcadia-N-30, Dulvoyinn, Geonosis and Gandle Ott (Cademimu and Ringo Vinda would both require stops on Dulvoyinn and Hosnian Prime respectively), maybe even multiple daily frequencies from these locations (especially Dulvoyinn)... Dunames had to make an effort to understand where these tourists would come from. While the Ewoks would likely get an opportunity to review the galaxy's worth of cultures by getting so many of them in one spot.

Aran finally had the Ssi-Ruuvi fleet right where he wanted them, but the shield wasn't down yet so now it was the waiting game. Wait for the ground forces to do their job so the fleet could obliterate the rest of the ships. Aran made his way down to the hanger bay where some of the troopers stationed aboard the Subjugator were getting ready for a EVA out to the wreck of the of the Executor, they were given the task to find any remains of Aran's late ancestor's military uniform, which would be near impossible. If they couldn't find that they would bring back a piece of the ship itself for the young commander to keep in a personal vault. As the lander left the hanger Aran looked out down onto the forest moon of Endor... part of him just wanted to turn his turbolasers onto the known locations of the ewok villages and destroy them, for what they did to help defeat the Empire, but yet he stopped himself as he realized their fate was worse, as they would more than likely become subjects for slavery, or to be mocked by the Order's elite in a cage. A smirk could be seen on his face, as he relished in the thought of the Ewoks fates.
With the lander out of view now, Aran made his way back to the command deck of the Subjugator, and put out a status report to the Supreme Commander, saying his forces are in their final position awaiting order to obliterate the fleet, once the shields on the planet are down. With that message away, he turned to getting reports, casualty and otherwise of the remaining ships in his line.

It was pitch black, no source of light aside from one dancing further away – yellow tongues of a bonfire licked the cavern’s walls and offered enough illumination to make eyesight a reliable source of information. The amphibious Darth slowly approached, ready for treachery hidden under thick shadows, yet none came, providing Veles with an endless supply of caution. Still, his curved weapon’s weight bolstered his confidence enough to step into the light. A boar-wolf carcass silently roasted over the bonfire, filling the place with its scent. Aside from greasy pelts and tools made of bones lazily lying on the ground, the place contained no other signs of its inhabitants. Veles swiftly pivoted on his heel and spun around, eyes cutting through the darkness. He knew something to be there, watching him – the Force told him so. And another presence, dead, yet powerful, potent.

Frowning, he went after it, inexplicably drawn to the signature’s source. Distant sounds ricocheted throughout the labyrinth and caused the Mon Cal to grip his lightsaber tighter. Eyes became useless again, leaving the assassin with nothing but his training and the Force to safely guide him through. Curiosity eventually forced Veles to ignite his lightsaber’s beam of superheated plasma, sending the hiss in all directions. Four more steps and the Darth finally came upon the source of all this – including his trip to Endor. Wide-eyed, he watched the priceless relic in front of himself, hidden in a small alcove, bathed in the blood red light. Completely stunned by the experience of meeting the legendary executioner of Darth Sidious’ will, Veles let his own presence mingle with the artifact’s, growing increasingly aroused by its power with each passing moment.

Darth Vader’s armour sat atop a very primitive shrine made of bones. Before he could claim it or even devote the time necessary to examine it for bewitching curses, the shrine’s worshipper and creator came from behind. Screaming a warning, the Force bought Veles a valuable extra second in life that let the Mon Cal throw himself aside, dodging a massive club that descended upon him. Veles had barely enough time to see his new opponent when another swing meant to turn him into a paste came. Dodging again, the Dark lord moved swiftly before the Gorax raised its weapon once more. A brief, blue jolt of pure dark side energy shimmered across the cave and impacted the creature’s chest, eliciting an ear-piercing roar filled with rage and pain – both of which Veles used for his own gain, drawing power from the Force to empower himself.

Objective: Create an Ewok reserve (BYOO)

"<Star Tours... why didn't you come in here earlier?>"

"The threat of the Ssi-Ruuk was too great to attempt an Ewok reserve before the First Order could adequately deal with them"

"<At least the First Order could deal with them>"

"I didn't want the tourists to get hurt because the Ssi-Ruuk could eat tourists alive"

Then again, the Ewoks just ate Ssi-Ruuk like alchemized long pork so that was an indication that they could eat unsuspecting tourists, too. Especially if they pick up food on the ground, so that would mean that carnivorous species would be more vulnerable to the traps Ewoks would lay. And hence be eaten in that fashion as well. Dunames knew that, if that happened often, Star Tours' reputations would be hurt pretty badly at least with respect to the particular product(s) anchored on Endor. But one of the main problems of the old Star Tours was that it focused too much on their Endor routes from their JanFathal base. Today's Star Tours had so many bases that it can diversify its portfolio of products and destinations. But how many tourists will be poisoned by the alchemized long pork? Ewoks are hard at work alchemizing their supply of long pork obtained from the battles against the Ssi-Ruuk.

Sage and the group were then escorted into a dining room beyond the antechamber. Like the rest of the house, it was somewhere between the calculated splendor of Avalonia and the swamps of Dagobah (Sage Annel had never been, of course, but legends only ever seemed to mention the planet when referencing swamps): a mediocre mealtime haunt of a public official on a planet of middling importance. Sage jested, placing a hand on the Prime Minister's shoulder, "First thing's first, you have to let the First Order build you a bigger mansion, Madame Prime Minister." Even with this, she stole a sidelong gaze at Tycho Harris. Not that the FOSB Agent was suggesting regicide, but she wanted it clear that friends of the First Order enjoyed certain benefits. Among those were substantial accommodations and the company of beautiful women. Though the veracity of such a tempting suggestion could not presently be tested, Sage was sure to make the innuendo clear. If pressed, she might admit that a mansion for the Prime Minister of Bakura (for crying out loud) was a low priority.

Still, Tycho Harris did not need to know that, and neither did Prime Minister Capiston.

The group took their seats for lunch, arranging themselves in order of their sub ordinance--Capiston and Sentiri at the heads, with Molly and Tycho on one side and Sage and Prefect Tara on the other. Sage smiled at the older, darker Harris. Certainly some elements in the room did not realize that the table was unbalanced when it came to allegiance. Either way, the conversation in the transport made it seem as though the Prime Minister was in favor of annexation. The real work would come with the Head Senator, who was not yet present at the gathering.

"Madame Prime Minister, what can you tell me about the current state of the Ssi-Ruuk threat on Bakura? As I understand it, an attack is imminent. On what grounds is the Senate resisting First Order assistance?"

Objective Two.

When A'sharad had set off from the rest of the encampment, he could see in his helmet, after he had replaced it atop his head that is, the hundreds of identifiers that distinguished the stormtroopers from... Their enemies in the darkness. Surrounding him however, he was unable to pick up the ten Commandos that were matching with him in colour.

Good.

At least they couldn't be spotted in the dark.

"Behind their lines," Vyrassu had said on the encrypted channel. At the same time, he turned off his commlink connecting him to the rest of the First Order Stormtrooper Corps. They had things under control for now, he knew. Within the next ten minutes incinerator troopers would be moving into position to begin burning the forest. "You'll make for the shield generator," he ordered. "Fire a flare into the night sky."

There was a pause from the General. He wasn't speaking from the helmet at this point.

"You have twelve minutes."

That's some serious tariffs for Endor alone, she thought. Oh, for sure, Star Tours doesn't have the best of reputations in First Order space, especially not after what happened on Quintas and Jiroch-Reslia, but Star Tours is still perceived in the galaxy at large as a major First Order fixture. And yet Endor is their best bet at rebuilding its reputation among First Orderers: the First Order invested far too much in First Order space to actually pull out its headquarters from it. But, at the same time, they can see smoke in the distance: a forest fire was happening in the direction the smoke happened to come from. Perhaps the Ssi-Ruuk has engaged the main First Order army and they made use of incendiary weapons in an attempt to burn stormtroopers alive, or perhaps the First Order has assaulted a Ssi-Ruuk fortification, or even a base. What was for sure was that an engagement occurred in that area, but that was a good distance away.

"<Ssi-Ruuk, eating tourists alive? They even ate our own dead when they first came here!>

"What's happening?" Dunames asked upon seeing fire from above the treetops.

"<The forest is on fire, who is responsible for the fire, the Ssi-Ruuk?>"

"The Ssi-Ruuk are barbarian brutes"

“Agreed.” Isla nodded towards Greifen Ren, her hunting knife would not draw her own blood this day. She could not surrender it to be used in such a foreign ritual. Her emerald orbs continued to watch the Ewok, perhaps he did know the way, and only hoped to deceive them. It could have been his plan all along. But then, her head turned sharply. A signature had risen. Isla had been around Darth Veles enough times to know his presence, whenever he allowed it to be revealed, that is. For a moment, the presence changed… it was different somehow.

“Veles…” She whispered, eyes narrowing.

It seemed that the Ewok’s services would not be needed. Without a word, she took off in the direction of the shadowy force signature. No doubt, the others felt it too. The tunnel closed in towards the end, and an echo sounded – an angry scream. Well, if the Mon Cal had not found the armor… he had certainly found something. A few moments later, Isla emerged from the tunnel. Darth Veles’ shrouded form was in motion, and the darkness was pierced by a brilliant blue bolt. Isla’s eyes turned swiftly to the target, the hulking form of a Gorax.

In the corner of her gaze, she could see the shrine and the armor. Immediately, the power called to her… as it would to all of them. Her heart leapt. But there was no time to stand and marvel at the relic.

Her hand found her saber, and it ignited with a sharp hiss. Of course, the alliance between Veles and Ren would be tested… but that would have to wait.

Objective 2.

Darth Vyrassu stood within the darkness of the forest. Only a few moments ago had he sent away his elite squadron of Commandos. His second, some Colonel by the name of Bissell or some such had had his orders to initiate the attack when he was gone.

And back in the direction that the eleven dark figures had come from, there was light.

First, the incinerator troopers must've started with the corpses. Had he not been wearing a helmet, he certainly would've smelt the burning flesh of various species.

Yet, he could see that the trees were beginning to burn. And quickly too.

A'sharad reactivated his comm in his helmet. Hundreds of stormtroopers were delving into the burning forests now, he knew. The attack had begun and the Sith General was already amongst the enemy. The golden lightsabre ignited, just as a scaly figure made its attempts at fleeing past him. With the weight of his armour and his full body behind it, the Ssi-Ruuk was sandwiched between a thick tree and a phrik covered Sith. Perhaps the creature was dead on contact with being body slammed, but for good measure, A'sharad eviscerated him.

...

"Take out that one keeping watch, Six."

"How about a harder target?"

"Or you can follow the karking orders."

"Yeah, yeah."

A single slug was fired, suppressed as it found the sweet spot between both trees and their leafy branches to bring down a lookout. They were in an Ewok village, or at least, passing underneath one, obviously removed of inhabitants. Probably already subjects of entechment.

"Anything harder?"

"We got movement. Lots of it ahead of us. The fire's started to burn."

The sound of slug rounds being loaded into rifles and pistols came to an end.

"You know I used to hate that so-"

"Stow it."

"<The Ssi-Ruuk have fallen back further into the forest, they seem to be entrenched somewhere in a building they call a shield generator>" an Ewok scout reported on the fire.

"<So they built a shield generator somewhere on this planet? Show us that the First Order is a thing!>" the chieftain mocked Dunames.

"I'm using the First Order for cover: while I protect the Ewoks, the First Order Army is there to attack the Ssi-Ruuk on the ground"

"Why?"

Endor is a key piece of the First Order military campaign against the Ssi-Ruuk in this sector. It was a grand campaign aimed at securing the hex, and also the wreckage of Death Stars II and III to a lesser extent. Dunames was always willing to contribute to First Order campaigns in ways they may not have otherwise thought of. Or perhaps Star Tours was taking advantage of said campaigns rather than contributing to them. After a few mishaps she could count herself lucky not to be directly under Ssi-Ruuk fire at this point. And that the First Order made no attempt at intercepting her either: it was a miracle that the Ewoks were still willing to listen to Star Tours' offers. But the Ewoks are, understandably, a little shaken after their last run-in with the Ssi-Ruuk. They have witnessed first-hand and they have lost many of their own in the attack: if they want to fight the Ssi-Ruuk again they will have to ask for aid from other Ewok villages, like Hanging Moss.

Kyrel followed closely along the path. He was worried about what the ewok would try,and not only that he was even more worried about what Veles would do. Something as powerful and well known as Vader's armor would draw upon all dark siders to it's seductive call. As he walked he could feel it getting closer and closer that his heart excitedly leaped with joy upon knowing that it was close. He followed carefully behind [member="Isla Ashen"] knowing that the others weren't far behind and his only thing to light his way thus far was his Lightsaber.

Isla ran and Kyrel quickly followed after her feeling the presence like it was a flame to a moth. He drew upon the dark side to increase his speed and using the constant pain from his limbs to give him the fuel that he needed. He than finally reached the cave. The armor was in plain view, the anger and cold that had dwelled within the armor from it's wearer was still there as some type of force nexus. Kyrel's admiration was momentarily interrupted by a fierce roar that echoed through out the cave. What stood in front of them was a grotesque looking creature. This was the Gorax the obstacle they needed to get past in order to retrieve the armor.

It roared violently raising it's club and bashing it to the ground. The ground shakes and quivered as Kyrel raised his saber offensively. He said out loud. "Our task is at hand..Quickly go for it's legs we might be able to drive it into the chasm over there." He pointed to a cliff several feet behind the hulking beast that led below into a bottomless pit. He than began his attack moving quickly with force speed, and avoiding the slow strikes that the beast was trying to dealt him with. The beast roared angrily as Kyrel started quick strikes at his Achilles tendon distracting the creature. The creature slowly backed up and tried to retaliate by moving on of his hands in Kyrel's direction. Kyrel for a moment sliced at the Gorax hand severing a finger which made him scream painfully as the finger dropped to the ground.

The Gorax than bashed at the ground next to his ankle which caused Kyrel to stop his hack and slash. He stood several feet in front of the beast. He said to the rest of the Ren in a questioning tone. "I may require some assistance."

Aran looked out at the enemy fleet, it was starting to crumble in from the might of the First Order's fleets. One final push he thought to himself and they would be finished, though the flagship still had it's shield up the rest of the Ssi-Ruuvi fleet was on the verge of collapse. Aran looked around to the rest of the bridge crew, all had the same idea he had, wipe them out and leave the flagship standing alone.
"Commander Piett to all ships in my command. I wouldn't ask of you anymore than I have now, but I request we go once more into the breech. Some of you served with me over Virgilia and now what we sacrificed there for the victory. I am now asking for it once more, we go in with full force and show these lizard scum the price to pay for those lost over Virgilia."
The bridge crew let out a affirmative yell, while the other captains of the cruisers still in his formation all give a nod and the affirmative to go with his plan.
"Shield to double front, intensify forward firepower. Engines full ahead."
The Subjugator lurched forward under full power, and pressed into the Ssi-Ruuvi fleet, ion cannons and turbolasers firing in the forward arc. The rest of Aran's line pushed behind him with the same force. Ship after ship of the Ssi-Ruuvi fleet started to fall, as the small cruiser line push towards the enemy flagship. The fighers sent from Vaas could be seen in dogfights around the cruisers from the bridges. The young commander would take note of their bravery if this plan of his work, he wasn't a glory hound, just wanted to give the lizards payback for what it cost him over Virgilia. This was his chance to show them what it would cost for a single cruiser of the First Order to be lost to them.

Objective Two.

"We got alotta targets behind us."

"Probably sending everything they got at the General."

"Yeah."

"Still got a job to do."

The Commandos had ascension cables attached to their utility belts, and they had ascended one of the larger trees near the shield generator complex and entered the previously seen Ewok village. The Ssi-Ruuk couldn't fly, as far as they knew, so they travelled via the walkways in the trees. Occasionally being forced to jump a short distance to another walkway before they were near the forest's edge overlooking over the shielding facility.

"So what's the plan?"

"Based off of what Intel says from these aliens behavioural patterns, there won't be a lot left."

Or it could've been a suicide mission, but they were still going to do it. General's orders.

"So we get inside and blow it all up, right?"

A deeper voice came over the comms. "You got that right. Got enough baradium packed to blow this entire clearing."

"Team Two will create the distraction."

"When?"

And a short distance away, a repeating blaster could be heard firing.

Perth Levov

It matters not who I am. My power is all that shou
Perth kept pace with the Knight of Ren. The ‘worthy’ she mused. That was definitely a leaning towards the Sith doctrine as opposed to the Jedi. She was unsure at this stage if the connection was real or a façade to keep underlings in their place. It wasn’t that she believed the Knight to be lying – but rather she kept her options open at this stage. Once upon a time she would have dismissed the notion of communing with the long departed or of reincarnation – in whatever form. But now? She had an open mind. But an unrestricted approach meant she was prepared to be convinced, not that she was automatically gullible.

Armour? She held no attachment to things – which was why what she carried or wore was what she owned. Not a Jedi trait of demonstrating humility, more a practical approach of a warrior. Clutter slowed you down. Sentiment and attachment affected your judgement. So she was curious what the Ren were looking for – or rather why? As a trophy, or symbol? Or maybe there was something to be tangibly gained from the armour. Much as she’d glimpsed images just from touching the spot of his funeral pyre, it was likely an actual remnant of his life might present information.

As they closed up to the Ewok, she observed his ritual. Blood magic was not an aspect of sorcery she’d come across. And just as she was wary of the powers she’d unlocked for herself through meticulous guidance, the prospect of untold interaction with the Force was not something she would even consider.

Sorel shook her head softly. Even without the Ren’s advice, there was no way she was about to share her blood with anyone. Let alone here of all places.

Unnatural and arcane, the shimmering bolt of pure dark side energy struck found its target right in the Gorax’ chest. Enough to interrupt the giant’s flow of actions, nothing more than that. With his power, the Dark lord would be able to crush the towering menace, yet for some reason he had opted to stall for as long as it took. He did not have to wait long; two signatures swiftly closed in on his position, unaware of what trial awaited them, yet undoubtedly having correct suspicions due to the sounds of battle suddenly carried throughout the caverns.

"There you are! And you didn't even need the Ewok to guide you! Good." Veles greeted the new arrivals with a smile before refocusing on the immediate danger.

He did not need to see the future to know the Gorax stood little chance, whether it faced him or the Supreme Leader’s agents – laser swords capable of cutting through flesh and bone with ease meant the only dangerous tool in their opponent's arsenal was the massive club-like weapon. And perhaps its primitive animalistic rage, increased after Veles' previous attacks. While the gargantuan lifeform possessed great strength and wielded an impressive swing that carried big enough momentum to crush bones like twigs, the Gorax’ tiny enemies had every other advantage on their side.

Once they positively attracted the beast’s attention, Darth Veles no longer needed to engage in combat. Instead of interfering further, he opted to abuse this opportunity turn into a spectator. Ready to study their styles and techniques, the Mon Cal Sith extinguished his own blade and took a step back, removing himself from the fight in order to observe how the knights of Ren fared while their red beacons relentlessly worked on taking the shrine’s guardian down. Even with the oppressive black veil inside, the light of their blades provided just enough illumination Veles needed to observe their moves in great detail, helped by his cybernetic eye and hoping more were on the way to join.

Dunames Lopez

Megalomaniac CEO of Star Tours
Location: Endor
Post: 24/38
Allies: First Order
Enemies: Ssi-Ruuk
Objective: Create an Ewok reserve (BYOO)

"<Chieftain, Hanging Moss Village reports that the First Order has engaged the Ssi-Ruuk near our village, and, caught in the crossfire, we decided to evacuate the village>" the Ewok envoy told the chieftain.

"<So the First Order has been closing in on the Ssi-Ruuk's shield generator?>" the chieftain asked.

"<Yes>"

"The First Order is about to win over these despicable Ssi-Ruuk. Commence deployment of astromech droids!"

"<Brace for an explosion!>"

So the reconstruction work began; walkways and other Ewok infrastructure sustained damage and the astromech droids brought in tow of course, the Z-5s purchased from the CIS were deployed around the village to provide security. Here in an attempt to butter up the Ewoks so that the First Order can legitimately claim that they are preserving the Ewoks, Star Tours began the reconstruction work without any further delay. Hopefully the explosion warning given by the chieftain will be heeded. That meant that all three of Virginie, Merrily and Dunames have to take shelter in the chieftain's hut and hope that the tree supporting said hut won't get knocked out by the explosions that the First Order is about to unleash. Dunames had no idea how far will the explosions reach from the epicenter, the shield generator. She was a little worried that the explosion of something as big as a planetary-grade shield generator would affect beings this far out.
