A Brewing Storm (Darth Ferus)

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
"Stop wincing, you are screwing me up... still though, it was stupid to do this alone, you should have run and gotten help Veino, if i had found you dead it would have meant losing a good friend." She finished up what she could repair, his skin would still be scarred, but that was better than having a open wound that could cause complications in the future should something worse happen to him that no one would be able to heal. @Veino Garn

Veino nodded, peering down at the injury, and slumping down exhausted as the adrenaline he had been running on ran out and everything hurt, everything burnt, and the world went fuzzy. He grabbed the rubble for support as he started slipping down into painless blackness. He gave [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] a small, sad, crooked smile. "We'll all lose each other in the end, you know. Might as well be ready for it." He fell to the ground, biting back curses and screams of agony as he hit the ground. "I-I'll be here a when yet, I think though."

She watched him as she stood there, nearly face planting into the ground before sitting down right in front of him and even poking his shoulder. "Still alive though i hope, otherwise i would really prefer not carrying a corpse back with me to the Order, that will go over real well with everyone else. 'Oh look its Alex and Veino... oh wait, Veino is dead, this sucks.'" She smiled as she mimicked what someone would say seeing the sight, though she didn't try to move the hurting man at the moment, only letting her hand rest on his shoulder and her body emitting a calm aura for him to take in and relax. @Veino Garn

Veino gave a pained laugh, emotional shields dissipating as his consciousness wavered, and picking up her aura at full strength. Tension evaporated and even the pain in his side seemed to flatten out to a dull ache. A slow breath revealed that breathing wasn't as hard as was moments before either. "Yes, that would be almost as distressing as them retuning to find the compound destroyed. " he grabbed a fistful of dirt and squeezed hard, letting his mind think the pain was focused in that spot instead of everywhere else.
"Which we should do something about, I think." They were brave words and not really possible, but the thought of helping others spurred him to hang on and fight through everything. " He pushed himself to stand, legs quivering and screaming beneath him with sweat pouring down his forehead, and fell to his knees again, "At least a little bit, anyways."

Alexandra watched him and when he fell to his knees she knelt beside him and took on of his arms and tried to lay him back down. "You are in no shape to be moving right now, lay down Veino before i have to heal a broken nose. Warning though, the breaking -will- be my fault if you try to walk back to the compound, understood mister?" She smiled and brought her hand to his head to make sure his injuries hadn't given him a fever, and after she was done checking and making sure he was ok minus pain she tapped his forehead with her knuckles lightly. "Just as i thought, empty."

He slumped back to the ground and just lay there, breathing heavily as she talked. She was right, and he most definitely did not wish to get a broken nose for being stupid. He probably wouldn't feel much of it through everything else though. Maybe just a tiny bit. She was concerned though. He was pretty sure he could feel that. He cracked a small smile at her last joke, "Don't I know it."

She closed her eyes and sat there, head facing forward and breath calm as she reached out around them and made sure that Ferus had truly left, once satisfied though her eyes opened and she looked down at him. "Why are you smiling mister, something funny?" She smiled back and moved to lay next to her friend, looking up at the sky, only a little more than a foot separating them as she glanced to the side at him. @Veino Garn

Veino nodded wearily, "Empty headed, I know. Been told that before." He stiffened as the pain began returning again. "We have bacta, right? It'd be really nice right now." As would high power painkillers, but those could probably wait, and sleeping for a while would be nice as well. Give his body time to heal from the various injuries, and see what a medical droid could do to fix him up.

"Yes, we have bacta you fool, though i healed most of your wounds that it would treat so not much that you can really use it for. Letting the rest heal naturally might teach you a lesson on team work. Its good your not killed though Veino, your still a friend atleast in my eyes and thats something i dont want to see happen if i can help it." She turned her head so the smile was directed at him before stretching with her hands behind her head now and speaking once more. "So, ever go star gazing?" The Medical team would be here in maybe five to ten minutes, best to get his mind off the pain.

Veino nodded dreamily, blinking slowly. Good. Bacta was very nice. "Friends are nice. Stargazing is too. Had both on occasions. Gone long times without either." Odd feelings swirled around him. His? Hers? Random strangers? He couldn't tell anymore. Everything blurred together. He blinked again, trying to clear it. No luck.

@Veino Garn

She watched him and saw him fading abit as she spoke again and tried to keep him awake and focused on the room around them. "Hey, wake up brainless, you aren't allowed to fall asleep yet. After all i am still your elder, if only by no more than two years at most." She smiled and nudged his arm with her elbow lightly, just enough to jostle him awake a bit without causing any physical harm that would turn this into less joking and more seriousness.

Veino nodded slowly, eyes closed, "I'll do that then." Easier said than done. He opened himself to the Force and rested in it, eyes closed. He winced as she elbowed him. It did actually hurt. Not sure if it was damaging, but it hurt. Then again, everything hurt in moments like this.
