One such as his apprentice would have gathered a few enemies, something he had anticipated. He knew the boy would have done things without the thought to tell him of them, a mistake he had only allowed once. Those with the ability to Sense another presence wouldn’t have sensed him till he was ready for Serian typically always kept his aura hidden. He’d watched the display dispassionately, he wanted to see what his student could muster and, frankly he wanted him to just plain suffer a little. From his vantage he could see and hear everything, it wasn’t like these ones were trying to hide.
He could tell the idiot was at the last of his strength and decided to act then. He moved quickly, arriving at the edge of where they were gathered, letting his aura free. For all that he was neutral, he still held the taint of one who walked the Dark path. His neutrality was more in motivation than in philosophy, he was no Lightsider and at least that would be obvious. “I will be taking my idiot apprentice back with me gentleman.”
He was an unknown and, unlike his student, not exhausted. For the fool to have a master who was one like him would probably prove his words, but he doubted these people would willingly give up. He walked towards Yuroic and then, when he was within reach, backhanded him. “You and I have much to discuss later. I am denying them their desire to kill you, but frankly they did a piss poor job of making you regret coming here, something I will correct. You were right, you are no Jedi, but neither are you anything of value either.”
He turned towards the leader [member="Darth Carolus"] his lit ruby gaze glittering. It didn’t impress him that there was still such Sith such as this one still wandering the galaxy. “I’m not interested in fighting you, my only desire is to take this moron where I can deal with him in private.”
He dismissed the others, they weren’t important, but this one was pulling the strings. Still, it was essentially four against one as he didn’t even consider Yuroic to be of any use. This stranger’s methods left much to be desired and he wondered if he’d have the sense to call off the rest. In the end a true fight would be between the two of them, not these others. However he had serious doubts about the intelligence of the one who had organized this pathetic display.
