Yandi smiled softly " Well thanks again.. not many people take notice or care about me" she said

"Thats, odd, Is that how it is here? Where I usually go, everyone is at least well fed...." He said with an impatient sigh, what was taking the food so long?

Yandi snorted " yeah, try having no home or money" she sighed. " as well as being marked a sociopath, sure i have.. done things out of anger... but i cant control my emotions.." she sighed

"I know how that feels." Arick muttered, "You have anywhere to stay, anyone to stay with?"

Yandi shook her head " Nope. nobody trusts the girl with the red eyes... nobody trusts the black cat.. what people call me" she sighed.

Yandi blinked looking at him " you do?" she asked looking confused.

"You seem trustworthy enough, much more so than some people I chat with." Arick said, "Though most of the time i'm giving orders or threats.... I think I should go out more...." He said with a grin.

Yandi smiled " Thanks for trusting me.. and thanks for caring enough to help me.. not many want to help one they think is insane.."

"What makes people think you're insane?" Arick asked, his intentions obviously good natured, but he didn't socialize, if this set the girl in a bad mood, he really didn't mean for it.

Yandi sighed " my short temper... as well as the fact that i kinda snapped and burn down my home..."she sighed looking down.

"That... Is... Something that would make people worry about your...sanity" Arick muttered, "How long ago was that? You seem nice enough now..."

" about 3 years ago.. but nobody understand how i was treated.. im sure anyone would snap having to watch their father practically killing himself with drugs and over drinking and powerless to help because you're locked in you room all the damn time" she growled her voice growing darker for a moment.

"I wish I could say I know how you feel, but I dont." His voice was soft, more gentle than before. "Does, anyone trust you? Like you? Anything? You can't be all alone?"

" your the first person to speak to my like i'm a person and not some wild animal" she sighed shaking her head " Hell even the Jedi think i'm some kinda sith and wanted to lock me up..." she said shaking her head

" i know iv attacked people in the past.. but people don't understand me.. they don't actually believe me when i try to tell them how my pain and how depressed i'm always in... I've come so close to just ending my pain to many times" she sighed

Without realizing it himself, Arick enveloped the girl in a hug, folding her into his wings, "Hey, don't listen to those fools, youre no more a monster than I am."
