A desolate place

Corvus checked the navcomp, they were about to exit hyperspace and so would reach the planet soon. "We're heading for Mos Eisley. Have you been there before?"

" we passed thru but did not stay." Enya replied glancing over at her " So it will be kinda new to me .. i barely remember going thru it " she added

"It's not a place for the feint-hearted. But keep close and we'll be fine. Why not take over and land the ship?

" Alright " Enya said with a nod as she took control of the ship again and got ready to land it when it was time to land.

Enya did a good job of landing the craft. Corvus helped her to complete the system checks before they disembarked.

"OK. We have limited information to go on. The Jedi was last seen in this city, and was expected to meet someone at a nearby cantina. I suggest we start there and see if we can track down this contact and hear what he knows. I'd like you to take the lead for a while, so you can start by finding The Laughing Mynock bar.". Corvus smiled, she was confident in her Padawan's abilities.

With a soft nod Enya turned and started making her way threw the hot city, while she did she reached up and pulled her long hair back into a ponytail. After a few moments she paused and looked around " Hmmm..." She said before she smiled and walked over to a group of girls about her own age " Excuse me, Could you direct me to the The Laughing Mynock bar." She asked.. One of the girls looked at Enya before telling her where to go " Thank you very much" she said with another smile before she glanced back at Corvus for a moment before heading off again.

Corvus nodded. There was a lot to be said for the direct approach and Enya found out the information quickly and efficiently. So she followed her as the Padawan set off for the bar.

Enya walked quietly as she made her way to the bar, keeping quiet only so she could run over the directions in her head once she finally arrived she spoke "well finding the place was easy enough" she said with a smile.

Corvus nodded but kept quiet. She would let her Padawan take the lead and see how she fared. If she seemed to struggle she would step in - but for now Enya was doing just fine.

Opening the door she looked around then glanced at Corvus " eh.. what now?" she asked not really sure what to do now.

Corvus nodded at Enya. "There is a messing Jedi. You could ask the bar staff if they've seen him?"

" Right..." Enya said stepping over to the bar and tried to get the busy bartenders attention while she waited she sighed " i dont even know what to ask him" she said shaking her head.

Corvus smiled. "You cold describe him and ask if they remember seeing him?"

Enya gave a small nod and looked to the bartender as he came up and she explained to him they were looking for a friend of theirs and described him for the man " Can't say that i have, so many people come in and out every day i lose track of most" he told her. Enya gave a soft sighed " are you absolutely sure?" She said as she looked him right in the eyes with her own " Well now that you mention it i do recall someone similar to what you described. But i only remember seeing him come in, As i said i see so many people i lose track"The man said and Enya nodded softly " Do you remember where he sat at?" She asked him " No.. I believe i was distracted after he came in by someone asking for another drink." He said. Clearly he was either lying or really knew nothing. Enya was not really sure so she glanced back at [member="Corvus Raaf"] again.

Corvus stood impassively and listened. Enya was doing her best and without using the Force, it would be difficult to progress. So she nodded to Enya to indicate they should sit at a nearby booth.

"I think this is a good time to learn a new skill - Telepathy. Are you up for it?"

Enya joined her and sat down " maybe.. but he may be telling the truth though" She said.

Corvus smiled. "Usually I do this somewhere really quiet, but other times somewhere really noisy works too. First I need you to relax. Connect with the Force as if you were meditating"

" alright" Enya said closing her eyes and took a deep breath and relaxed focusing her mind away from the sounds of the room.

Corvus voice was low and soothing. "Now you are centred in the Force, I want you to search for emotions. There will be so many in a room this busy - and with the alcohol on offer. Pick out the strongest. Once you have found it, follow it back to the person it came from. The emotion will be linked to a need, a thought that drives it. This will lead you the person's mind. Once there, I will be able to sense it and you can stop. Then we can discuss the next step."

With a soft nod she did so surching the room after finding it she stoped and open her eyes. " now what do I do" she asked brushing her bangs from her blue eyes.
