A Diamond in the rough or is it.

He didn't say a word. He simply lifted a hand the air around him began to crackle with energy slowly at first and then faster. After a minute a blast of Force Lightening shot out of his hands towards her chest.

"Tsk Tsk Tsk making demands are we?"

He would not let up on her..........he wanted to hear her screams of agony to watch her thrash in pain. It brought a smile to his face to be the cause of such things.

"We are going to have to work on that tone of voice.........and on that attitude. We can't begin your training until you are molded into a proper student."

The Force was bent in a way Sinda had never seen. It went pure dark before firing from his hand into her with a painful strike. She let out a scream that she could not suppress. It felt like being stung thousands of times over by electricity and pure darkness itself. She tried to fight against it and her cuffs but to no avail, only to keep screaming.

"AAAAHHHH! I'm-I'm Sorry! AAAHH! I'm Sorry!" she pleaded.

[member="Vengeance"]

He chuckled for a minute before finally releasing her from her torment.

"That's a good girl."

He smirked moving over to lean against the wall beside her. Glancing over at her he chuckled.

"So what does little Sinda want to be when she grows up..........what get's you out of bed every morning? What drives you............other than your newly found hatred for me of course."

He smirked. It was quite a spot he put her in. If she admits and expresses her distaste for him she risks more abuse............if she lies however would she also be punished. Of course there was a third option.........refuse to answer the question.

Once he finally released her she dropped as far as she could in her restrains before trying to regain herself. Not just her body hurt but both inside and out were in agony as well. That was the power of pure Darkside energy being released and it had struck her point blank. She was lucky to be alive after that and she knew it. She breathed while trying to regain herself as [member="Vengeance"] asked what she wanted. She lifted her head and, through her lips and breathing, expressed her hatred for him. She had a feeling he already knew her answer of hating him and wanting to kill him if she could. She also surmised what would happen if she did. Instead she had a better answer, one that was true but also that did not have to answer him directly.

"I want....to be strong. I want to be powerful... I want it so that no one will hurt me ever again..." She said, her tone making it sound more like a confession than anything else.

He chuckled it growing into a laugh.

"Tsk Tsk Tsk. You are not being honest. You like the pain you even enjoy it. It is the only thing that makes you feel alive. It's why you can't help but put yourself in the position to be punished."

He reached on the near by table grabbing a knife. A knife he would then take turning around towards her to plunge it into her stomach intentionally missing anything vital. As he did he would whisper in her ear.

"What do you really want......what are your goals. If you could have anything in the entire Galaxy what would it be. Nobody wants power........power is a means to an end not the end itself."

As he asked her the questions he slowly began to twist the knife clockwise millimeter by millimeter. It produced a feeling of euphoria he had not felt in a very long time.

She could sense the amusment in his voice. This as all some sick game for him. The torture. The pain. He brought this on to so many it was just fun for him. A sick creature he was. She sneered at him as he walked off only to return with a knife. She gasped and tried to fight the restraints yet again before feeling the knife plunged into her. In that moment her life flashed along with the moment of pain before she dropped her head forward. She could not see it but the knife was in her "eyesight". The idea of it alone was enough to make her yell in pain before he wanted to know what she wanted.

"I want....to kill you!" she spat before feeling him twist.

She wasn't dying by a knife wound it seemed. He wanted to use her for someone else. Just a toy to be broken perhaps. But either way the pain was near as bad as the Force Lightning he'd used before. She struggled before her next answer came out.

"I want Aaggghhuu...I want my family back!"

[member="Vengeance"]

He pulled the knife out tossing it away before he reached up grabbing her by the throat with a slightly bloody hand forcing her chin up to look at him.

"Ah yes see now we are getting somewhere. Tell me about this family of yours."

Once you stripped away all pretense the truth was all that was left. The truth was pure...........the truth was all that mattered. Not to mention family was a very powerful focus. He more than most knew that family could push be to do incredible and at times encourage extreme action.

"Where is your family and what happened to them?"

A painful gulp came out when the knife finally left her body. The wound still bled and was sore. If something wasn't done she would bleed to death or die from a severe infection to be sure. Still if all he wanted was for her to talk then she would, at least until she either died or he did something to save her.

"They're....gone." she admitted, holding back sad frustration. "They were killed by the raiders *hiss aahhh*" She felt the wound still tingle. "My father...was a Jedi Knight but they....they told me I couldn't join. They feared for me. They wouldn't even let me try."

[member="Vengeance"]

He listened to her talk. She would bleed sure but it would take at least an hour or more before her life would be in any danger. He had done this before and he was getting pretty good at it.

"And your mother.............what about her? Was she a Jedi too?

He leaned against the wall beside her his arms crossed.

"Why wouldn't they let you join? Was your father exiled or something?"

He sighed.

"Not that your story is at all surprising. Jedi are funny like that........all about their codes and rules. Never wavering."

[member="Sinda Tivan"]

"N-No...." she replied, still trying to hold against her wound. "She was....just a woman. And my father left....because he didn't want to fight anymore. He was tired of it..." She coughed and tried to keep herself from falling over when he asked about the Jedi, her response being "Because they didn't want this.... They didn't want me to find someone like you. They were afraid..."

The more she said it the more it dawned why they feared the Sith so much. They knew she would be in great pain if she met one. But was it psychical like this or something else that was supposed to be painful? Her father always warned of the Darkside and the dangers of it. But power like this was something anyone should and would fear if they knew it like Sinda did now.

[member="Vengeance"]

He laughed.

"Is that what they told you?

He shook his head.

"They lied to you child. I have known many Jedi in my life. Not a single one was ever afraid to meet me. More than a few even sought me out. Jedi exist for one purpose and one purpose only. To combat Sith."

He moved off for a minute grabbing a bottle and returning. He pour the contents over the stab wound knowing it would hurt like a mother fether but keep it from getting infected.

"The truth is they saw the darkness in you, the pride, the raw emotion, and they were worried you would fall to the dark side and become a threat if they trained you. Too many Jedi have done unspeakable things in the name of the Jedi order in recent years. It is not me they feared............it is you."

One he finished cleaning the wound he slapped...............literally slapped a bandage on it. One last little ounce of pain and insult before he was done.

"However I don't fear you...................I don't fear your potential...............and I am going to train you. In the future you will look back on this day and understand.............maybe even appreciate what I have done."

[member="Sinda Tivan"]

As [member="Vengeance"] spoke and Sinda listned she could feel him moving from place to place. Her attention was taken away when he poured whatever it was onto her wound. She hissed before letting out a low groan, indicating it hurt worse that the stabbing itself. At least it showed he was going to let her live.

Following that however was the idea that her parents lied to her. Did they really fear her falling to the Darkside and that was why they never let her train? Did they think she was too powerful or prideful like the Sith Lord suggested? Of course she didn't want to think that, not about her own parents, yet the thought still lingered.

After the bandage was slapped on her it brought her back to reality before he finished, making her ask "You...? You want to make me a Sith?"

He laughed.

"No no child nobody can make anyone a Sith. You are either Sith or you are not. What I am going to do is test you and see if you are worthy of my legacy."

He sighed with a chuckle.

"Unfortunately for you that means either you survive and pass.............or you die and I dump your body out the airlock."

He moved over towards the door turning just before he left.

"Your first test is tomorrow morning...........do try and get some rest...........you are going to need it."

With that he turned and left the cargo hold leaving his new little slave hanging on the wall.

His reasoning for her being a Sith was very one sided. Live or die, that was likely how the Sith ruled their order. No room for weakness and compassion like the Jedi. It was only now that the wound was starting to heal but Sinda was still feeling pain from all that happened. To be thrown from one cage into another and now to be the possible apprentice to a mad man who would rather her die than waste his time on her. As he left she looked and saw him leave telling her to rest. Easier said than done as she was left to hang on the wall. She felt herself drop and her limbs hang weakly forward. She'd never had to sleep like this before but what else could she do? She was tired. She wanted nothing but rest. She felt herself slipping away as she held back sadness and misery. The one benefit of having no eyes was not having tears to fall from them.
