A Fresh Start [SJO]

As Stephanie walked across the bank of the lake and looked up at the shell of the place they would call home taking place, she could see humans, Wookiees, droids, Zabraks, Grans, Togrutas, Twi’leks...all cultures and beings working together for one goal and one aim - to be a place the Jedi and those hoping to restore peace and justice in the galaxy could call home.

She smiled and reached up to her arm, tapping in a signal and sending a message to one [member="Kyra Sol"] - a girl she owed her life to.

”Hi Kyra, it’s Stephanie. I hope my last message reached you and you’re keeping well? Please get in touch when you can. I have so much to tell you, and I hope you will be proud of all I am doing thanks to your support. I miss you.”

She clicked off and sighed. Kyra was the one who literally pulled her back from the brink of ending it all, and introduced her to Je’daii and the Force as a whole. While she had taken a different path, Kyra meant the world to her and hopefully she could come a visit.

But for now, she had work to do.

Work was being done on a zip-line from one side of the lake to another, reaching into the trees on either side as a means of access, entry and escape if needed. Stephanie walked over and waved.

”Hey! Can I help?.”

A brown Wookiee turned and nodded and waved her over, to which the Jedi did with a smile. Without hesitating, the Wookiee placed his large shaggy hands on Stephanie’s hips and lifted her with little effort to a wooden deck on a winch as another Wookiee begin hoisting her up to the high plateau above.

"Ummmmompppfff. Gnnnng!"

With a giggle of laughter and a bright smile, Stephanie stood and watched the planet start to unfurl before her eyes the higher she got, and she could see so much activity. It was such a positive and exciting moment. She could get used to this.

Dopi's search was becoming hopeless. All day long he had been looking for any signs of a cave or anywhere that a Kyber crystal could be. He didn't mind the colour of the crystal, as long as it could function properly. He bumped into a few other people he didn't know, both figuratively and literally. At this point, Dopi was beginning to give up, and just retreat back to his room and foretell the day away, letting anyone come up to him to ask him for his fortune like he did on Dantooine. Maybe someone would see him and help him...but that was unlikely, as other people were busy setting up their living area, building the new temple, and just exploring the area. Maybe though...Maybe.

Doug had just been spending his time glancing around the environment of Kashyyyk, trying to get a feel for the place. The red-haired, slightly more seasoned Padawan felt almost... Lost in a way. Everything looked so... Unfamiliar to him. He almost wanted to go back to Voss, but... It's not like anything would be left waiting for him. He shook his head. He had to get used to this planet. It did look rather lovely after all. He's coped with it well enough before... It's not like he was here alone after all. The rest of the Order came along as well... Or at least the ones he would recognize... And a few he didn't recognize.

His spiraling train of thoughts were interrupted when he felt a pat on his shoulder and a voice speaking to him about his little... Bout of doing nothing. "Huh?" He uttered in a disturbed manner as he quickly turned around to see an unfamiliar face. "Oh. Hi there. You could say that I'm... Bored, yes." He responded to Tana's question. It was a rather abrupt start, but it was nice to have someone to talk to he supposed... Even if this person was a stranger to him at the moment.

History was overrated?

Now there was a sentiment only the young could express. "Perhaps it is so," the young Anzat conceded lightly with a simple smile, not because he agreed entirely with her outlook but more so because there was no reason to have the conversation or debate over so trivial a point. Besides, he imagined that much of what she'd consider to be history to include events of his lifetime. And he'd rather like to think of himself as relevant.

Kashyyyk was a place where his history and the history of the planet had a few things in common. He'd known the Jedi who had been assigned to Kashyyyk's defense during the Clone Wars. If he was right, Yoda and Luminara Unduli would have been here right about the same time that Contingency Order 66 had been transmitted from Coruscant. Sor-Jan knew that there had to be other survivors, such as himself. But if this was where his friends had met their fate, he would do their memory dis-service if he didn't honor their sacrifices.

Strange. The events of which he reflected now were ancient history, more than eight centuries past. Yet, he had difficulty in separating himself from the idea that it had been yesterday. And even after having lived in this modern era for the last seven years.

But, he was being a bad host, wasn't he?

Coming out of his brooding, the child looked up as [member="Orihime Ike"] spoke of her mother. "How is Matsu?" the youngling inquired, with a rather honest curiosity. It had been some time since he'd last seen the Atrisian woman. "Well, I trust?"

The gift was a surprise, though in retrospect the boy thought that the only surprise was in [member="Matsu Ike"]'s unconventional approach to the Force. As the boy looked over the gifted bed, it was astounding how simple and yet revolutionary the application of such Force imbuement to something as ordinary as a bed would be. "The workings of your mother's mind continue to amaze me," the boy admitted freely, looking up from the bed as he added, "Thank you for this."

THe Lost Legacy approached the planet, with everything going on Elizabeth had taken a little time to try and help out... plus well as the freighter moved into position it looked almost familiar. The bulkier YT inspired craft had more bells and whistles on it before she was feeling the tingle of the lightside across her skin. Banking thanks to the droids working as pilot and co-pilot there she was able to go down the hallway in her snazzy new robes. Gleaming white and silver while her hair was up and short. Attention to the smaller details when she had the silver hilt of her lightsaber there along with her field pack of equipment on her hip under the outer robes.

The ship touched down and she moved uing the special shoes designed by [member="Kiriko"] for padawans but she was still small and able to wear them... so it was alright and worth it. The ramp coming down while she looked at some of the wookiee's and got a look from the one before moving down on the back heels and giving him a hug. Bakka... it is so great to see you again." She had a smile on her face and closed up the ship before moving to the edge and seeing some of the other jedi who were around. The chevron pad showing the maps from Rose where they had been mapping the shadowlands.

Tana could not help but giggle slightly at the surprised nature of the new Jedi, either they had not expected someone to be as chipper after the whole moving from Voss or just the general attitude of the person greeting him may have been a bit strange. Regardless it was a good start, come a few years time the two may be laughing back at such an awkward meeting, "well you looked bored, body movements, facial expression that sort of thing, not to brag but during me previous, 'employment' I needed to be proficient at reading people from afar, tends to still be a habit and all".

Letting go of the mans shoulder Tana walked in front of him, hand on him with a sly smile, their skirt like kama flapping against the wind, "I apologize if I came on a bit strong, I just like to make people feel uncomfortable sometimes, the reactions they give can be quite amusing, but with that out the way, I guess introductions are in order". Tana gave a short bow, then proceeding to make a small hang gesture, motioning like someone serving a piece of cake to another, "My name is Tanasuki Yumi, a Jedi padawan from, oh lets say, a week ago or so, very new here, so I am trying to make friends as fast as possible, might I ask for yours"?

The Sephi hadn't originally intended to come to Kashyyyk. The Silver Jedi were going to be more or less starting over: creating a new Temple, bases of operations, communications networks, the works. Everything that was a part of setting up an organization anew. Had he desired that sort of work, he would have sunk the effort into what he already owned. And given the relative suddenness of the move, there was no guarantee such a move would not happen again in short order. Who knew what kind of permanence the facilities here would hold.

He'd needed to claim himself a room though. Otherwise they'd all be gone and he'd have to bunk with the Padawans.

It wasn't saying much, but this was not a planet that Audren had been to before. The Force was strong on this world though due to the high concentration of living things. The place was like the planet he'd grown up on, but on steroids. Seriously heavy-duty steroids. The trees were the size of buildings found on Coruscant and covered most of the planet, and the natives were correspondingly larger than most humanoids. And stronger, and fiercer. The native predators were no slouches either: carnivorous plants weren't uncommon and the native Wookiees had a habit of hunting creatures they found to be a challenge. Rumor had it that this was due to ancient technologies run amok, but he'd heard little in the way of concrete proof. What a place to settle.

Countless construction droids and specialists swarmed over the area that had been provided to the Silver Jedi. The Master didn't know the specifics of the deal and really didn't much care. It wasn't his concern. What he did wonder about was the darkness he could sense throughout. The Force was strong, but it was not geared solely towards the Light side. On Voss the Darkness had been found in patches throughout the planet, but typically focused more in specific areas. From what he could sense so far, that was not the case here. Light and dark and shades between wove a tapestry through the gargantuan forest. Concentrations of the dark side tended to corrupt that which was around it in unexpected ways, and it would be better to be aware than not.

The elfin Jedi wore armor suitable for a unknown situation in a temperate climate. Thought obviously metal, the shine was muted with greens and browns that would blend well with the surroundings where there was less sun. A lightsaber hung prominently at the right side of his utility belt. Several other pieces of technology could be found on the belt as well, including a sidearm holstered opposite the lightsaber. Such a sight was becoming more common these days. Less common was the blaster slung across his body. Larger than a pistol but smaller than a full-sized rifle, it was just about the right size for fighting in a thick forest. With a collapsible stock, a sight, and a mid-length barrel, it was adaptable to most situations in this environment.

He'd been careful not to be silent as he approached the Rangers - or the Raiders, he supposed. Bad things tended to happen when sneaking up on Rangers in unknown territory, even if they weren't keyed up for violence. The Colonel's comm broadcast had reached him and it seemed possible to fulfill multiple objectives simultaneously. Map out the areas of darkness, work with the Rangers, get to know the area. Be back in time for food and parties. Good deal, that. He wouldn't take up much space and might even be useful to the soldiers that made up this group of Rangers.

"Still have space available, Colonel?"

"My mother is doing very well enough. She has found enjoyment in being able to teach and train on the library while searching the worlds discovered by the Saratai ships." She looked at everything else they had and. "Hmm if you want we can get a race car or x-wing variant of the bed siding for some fun." She said it with a smile on her face seeing some of the other things they had o the planet. "We should check with some of the jedi in the temple. Selena and Grandmaster Watts left a number of defenders to protect it when they led the charge with Sky, my mother and a couple others."

Orihime had a look on her face bringing it up with a 3d visual of the shadowlands and villages from the mapping efforts they have been doing for years and pointed to the cliffside with the temple on it. "Liberated from sith and trandoshan slavers on the planet, Master Halcyon slew the sith and stopped their mass geneocide ritual mirroring one that had ben used on Togoria long ago. The jedi stopped it, took the temple so that they could teach and work with the wookiee's, later teams of Special forces and the army worked with them to locate a je'daii temple on the world itself after the harvestors attacked Dagobah."

She was reading off most of the information from her datapad and small visor that appeared over her eye with a small look. "Isard has maintainedforces on the world to train wih the wookiee chieftain and help protect them should slavers come. There is not a lot but their bunker in the shadowlands serves a strong purpose and was utalized during the One Sith invasion of the world, several slaving companies have come and their ships were stopped and crashed in the forests or oceans. The work going into clearing it up continues with a few more villages helping out with the clean up. I am uncertain where the others are going but I'd say we check out the temple and defensive area, get new maps that shoudl be updated with the latest reports and who knows there might be more."

Doug raised an eyebrow at the mannerisms of this newcomer. A bit different than the people he usually hung around with, that's for sure... His Master and the circle of Padawans he amassed over the past few years. He supposed his surprised reaction would have been a bit amusing to witness... It seemed nobody else really noticed at least. He scratched the back of his head and his expression returned to a more neutral one. "I see... Well. The name's Doug Starwind. Been a Padawan going on around... Four years or so now. Pleasure to meet you, Tanaski. Always good to see more newcomers to the Order after all." Doug said politely to the inquiring of the newer Padawan. After he spoke, he realized that Tanaski said the name Yumi.

Yumi... Were there more Force Sensitives in this family or was it just a coincidence of shared names? "Also, you said... Yumi, yes? I've met another with the family name as well." Doug added on with an indirect mention towards Sky'ito, who he had gotten a bit more acquainted with back on Voss. He figured he would make a remark about it or it would probably end up bothering him more than it should.

Objectives: Help with some settlement or temple construction duties while taking some time get to find and set up a settled hovel on the planet.

So as he exited one the loading dock where he'd spent most of the earlier part of the day. As he was helping transport and unload some the supplies that had been brought over to start construction on the new settlement here on Kashyyk. Which apparently had been in the works and had been finalized sometime during his brief stint off Voss. At which time thought as far he could fathom his stay there as best he could recall was no less brief. He none the less felt some sadness in having to leave but then again whats done is done. And as much it saddens him to go it was at best some small comfort that it was not for good. And that he could still return to continue to have access to the Archive that was there on top those that he'd recently found during his travel to Alderaanian Territory.

Of which seem with the help and aid of Jairdain suggestions, his work in decode his past had somewhat broken ground. Just enough that he felt he made enough headway into the matter. That he'd been able to decode some bits or piece of skill or ability, however basic they were for now regarding his Father people. At which case having gather enough so far since his last trip to feel confident enough to make his initial attempt to. Put those theories to practice so to speak as in the back his mind the image of his recent encounter with unknown strangers fiends in the back alley. As were the haunting words spoken that day.

At any rate with most if not all the supplies unloaded he figured there was maybe a bit more time for him to explore. Before the ship or he was to be needed back. So after dropping a note to the ground crew that he took a short break to stretch his legs. Ronin then pack up and head off to go explore.

Aerena was currently situation in the cockpit of a fairly new- at least to her, ship. The U-Wing, to the surprise of no one it was shaped not much unlike the letter 'u'. What ingenious naming convention spat this out of the drawing board? Casting aside those trivial thoughts, the woman would contemplate just how easy it was to pilot this craft. She had some experience prior, but was by no means an expert. The ship was responsive and almost intelligent, responding to her in ways that baffled her.

Her gawping was cut short as she glanced past her own shoulder to find [member="Cardinam"] lazing about behind. The damn supine protoplasmic invertebrate jelly had taken it upon himself to plant his backside further back in the ship and takes sips of a drink- more than likely alcoholic, leaving Aerena to pilot with a mildly irritating AI seated beside her. He did not make for the most interesting socialite. He didn't bite, not even slightly. Deciding that she wanted to have at least a little fun, the woman checked her immediate flanks, ensuring that there was nothing in the way of the U-Wing. Her first step click- she had dialed down the inertial dampeners somewhat, she did not want him injured.Grinning slightly to herself, she would watch Cardinam out of the corner of her eyes, waiting for him to raise the glass to his lips one more, before she acted!

Tilt!

Aerena would jerk her hands to the left, causing the right wing to arc anti-clockwise, the ship banking as though it intended to turn left. However, she remained flying straight the entire time. Quite assured that Cardinam would be slightly irritated, if not soaked with the remnants of his own beverage on the floor from the sudden G-Force and shift of center of gravity. It was only liquid after all. Instead of straightening up the U-Wing normally, she allowed herself to complete the full roll, the turn being gradual, enough so that any human would be able to move with the gravity within the ship to remain upright. Or roll around like a hamster- if they could not get their bearings.

Finally level, Aerena would increase her speed, aiming to arrive before she could catch an earful. Oh this was far too fun.

I heard the skittering before I ever saw them, then the acid grenades were tripped and the shrieks began as the acid coated them. Spinning around the corner I leveled the scatter-gun at a group of five of the spiders and fired a round into all of them racking another round into the chamber and blasting an incendiary round into them setting them ablaze. The second group had seen the first and followed their fate as well the corpses littered the halls and I heard the voice again "Prudii'kad you fight with cunning. You are aware of the darkness you felt coming here? You carry that same darkness you realize?" The acid had now chewed through the corpses leaving ash piles behind from the incendiary rounds. "I'm aware of the darkness I carry, which is why it won't claim me. I made my peace with it long ago, I also know myself by this point I have the claim on a single man's life."

Continuing down the halls I felt the darkness in this place the jewelry I wore turned black as pitch. A complete contrast to what it'd been earlier... "You want this place Andorreth? Come and claim it then." With that the floor opened in front of me leading down into a chamber that I could feel pure menace emanating from.

"Go down. Face what waits below." Without thinking I ran and jumped triggering the jets in my armor five feet from the ground. Then cut them off and landing I rolled activating the charge in all my weapons. "This world is older than most know, and has dangers that have been faced many times by those many times more powerful than you Vespera." Looking around I felt the menace and heard a shuddering step. On instinct I clipped the scattergun to a harness point on my armor and called my sabers to my hands. Hooking them together I triggered the aqua blade as I shifted my hold on the saber hilts to one that I'd hold a spear with. The aqua blade burned against the dimness of the cave, crackling with electrical energy due to the crystals I'd imbued with Emerald lightning. A pair of red, malice-filled eyes looked back at me and I had time to utter "Fierfeck'la osik..." Then what had been down here for likely years emerged into view....

A terantatek....Sith creation, Jedi-killer, force-resistant, poisoned claws and teeth. Lovely... Popping the lid on the container of sand I had I swirled it into a cloud with The Force to give myself time to re-adjust to this situation. Fething Terantatek....well at least the place the Silver Shadows would be using would be free of pesky wildlife that wanted to kill us all...

Tanasuki smirked a bit, the man had fallen into the trap of pronouncing the name correctly, one that held quite an amusing meaning too, no matter which way you said it. "Oh my Mr Douglas Starwind, you are very forward, declaring your love for me after we just met, if only Sukai had told me what such charmers you where, I would have raced over here and joined the order long ago". Tanasuki gave a very bashful look, putting on a fake blush while placing a hand in front of their mouth.

The two stood there for a few seconds, before the Tanasuki broke out in laughter, 'Hahahaha, ehhehehehe ah... ah aaaaah, I'm am really sorry for making you feel awkward, I just couldn't let such a chance slide past". Wiping away a few tears of joy the young Jin quickly straightened up, putting back on a friendly smile, "I guess I should explain, my name, Ta na suki, means I love you in basic speech, translated from my language, you can just call me Tana if that suits a bit better, that does not have any, uncanny meanings". "But you are right, that other person with Yumi as their name, it’s my older Sister Sukai'ito, she's been pestering me to join the order for a while now, kind of glad I took her up on the offer, this place seems good, and I get to live like a noble back on Atrisia".

Valk' took another drag of his cigarette before responding to the transmission that came through.

"Affirmative, plenty of seats if you don't mind a bumpy ride." He'd state this as he looked to the bed of the vehicle. Besides the benches designed for rangers to sit on for transportation, the small center used for leg room was still full of supplies for even the most extreme situation they could encounter.

The young colonel shifted his gaze from the supplies to Specialist Lowder behind the wheel of the vehicle, getting only a shrug and a chuckle from the ranger special forces member. Valkren just shook his head, turning his back to the vehicle to take another drag of his cigarette, keying into the communicator once more.

"We're at the motor pool, leave in fifteen. We can squeeze ya' in friend."

Valkren placed the active communication device in the passenger seat, resting the upper receiver of his weapon across his shoulder as he climbed up into the open passenger side of the SGV. He stood there momentarily, looking out at the huts and tree lines to watch for friendlies arriving to take up his offer.

Suddenly I was very, very glad I'd come in beskar armor. The roar it loosed was horrible and I'd started moving through the sand cloud as It'd taken several wild swipes. Then the sniffing....feth it smelled the blood from earlier. I'd have to outmaneuver it. Loosing the beskar razor whip from my left gauntlet I flicked it towards the rear of the thing's right leg, I felt the whip bite in and I jerked, hard. I heard the skull-rattling roar of agony as I felt flesh tearing. Disconnecting the last six inches of the whip I retracted it and using the sand to cover my approach I squeezed my left hand that I'd cut hard. Blood dripped into the sand and as I re-wrapped my hand I whisked the sand with blood particles around it in a confusing scent cloud.

Moving swiftly and silently I moved in behind the already injured leg and dialed up the dose of paralytic poison on my beskar blade. I saw the poison begin dripping from the blade and as the beast sniffed the air trying to ascertain my location I stabbed into the wounded leg three times in lightning fast succession as I made another three slashes along the wounded leg. Darting away I retracted the blade and once again lost myself in the sand as I relocated. The poison should have taken down a bantha but this....would take awhile to take full effect. Darting out of the sand cloud I remembered Seras' warning about these things. "If you ever encounter one don't try fighting it head on. Use the environment, Force powers won't do much either so as tempting as it may be don't use whatever gifts you learn unless you've no choice."

I'd disabled the bacta on my blade when I'd stabbed and sliced it. Meaning the cuts wouldn't heal they'd bleed openly which also could attract other predators to fight against it for me. This was my task though, I had to finish it. I could read it's vitals as irregular and erratic as I waited in the shadows the Verpine rifle I held was a modified version of the sniper rifle I had and this was loaded with explosive particle rounds. Lining up a shot with this rifle I fired a three round burst cleanly through the already wounded leg and watched as its leg became pulp with the explosive particles. The rounds had penetrated, the particles dispersed in the wound and then the five second after impact explosion. It roared in agony and tumbled forward, dispersing the sand I watched as it's eyes laser focused on me. It could still move if it wanted and it definitely wanted my blood, raising the rifle to my shoulder I put another two three round bursts through it's shoulder of the arm reaching towards me.

Another few seconds and the explosions tore through its shoulder severing the arm there. Part of me felt sorry for the beast, the other knew that if I left it a fighting chance it'd kill me without thinking. "Measured violence Andorreth there should be control in most aspects of your life but especially in the skills I've taught you. There's a time for mercy and a time for violence, then there are times where death is itself a mercy." Seras' words still rang true even now. Currently death was the mercy I could offer this creature, moving over around it I leaped onto its back and as it tried getting up I spun my saber staff's blade up through its shoulder and it fell back to the earth. Inverting my hold on my sabers' interlocked hilt the blade tip now at the back of its neck I said "You've lived for a long while here dark hunter, your time and corruption here though are ended. May you join with The Force and let your strength carry to those who'll need it." My prayer for the creature finished I speared my saber blade through the back of its neck and it fell eternally still. Withdrawing my blade I disconnected the hilts and de-activated the aqua blade.

"Congratulations Prudii'kad, you fought and eliminated the dark presence here." Smirking I looked around at the runes and said "No, there'll always be darkness here just as there'll always be light. Everything has a balance that either needs help or will correct itself. Plus, even though I'm not sure what you are other than a Force entity of some sort I know you didn't send me here to see my worth you sent me into this chamber as an executioner." I felt a hint of amusement in The Force before I heard it in my mind again "Yes I did, but not as simply an executioner. Anyone with a blade or weapon can take life you proved yourself by how you treated the dead or soon to be dead. You may be called to be an executioner in the future but you've proved to this place and The Force that you're an executioner with honor for the hunt, the living, and one who treats the dead and dying with respect. Go now Vespera the taint here has been cleansed take trophies if you wish."

Looking at the fallen Terantatek I set about sending a message to the Grandmaster. "M'lady Kitra I've finished clearing an area in the deep shadowlands that may be suitable for a future base for the Silver Shadows. I'm attaching coordinates and I'll be heading back towards the main temple shortly Knight Vikar out." Sending the transmission I turned and went back to the fallen Terantatek to set about gutting and stripping the hide into manageable material to take back with me. I killed it, I owed it to both The Force and Kashyyyk to treat the body with the respect due it....

LOCATION: Kashyyk

Ahsona stepped off of the transport high in the canopy of Rwookrrorro. For a someone who lived in forested valleys when her parents didn't truck her off to a dig or symposium in the plains of their homeworld, stepping off of the transport that landed on a pad attached to a limb thicker around than a rancor, it was a little disconcerting. From the pad, she could see across the sea of green that was Rwookrrorro and beyond, the capital of a planet of giant trees and arboreal giants. She could feel the slight sway of the limb beneath the pad, but it felt little different than being on a tall building on Coruscant, except the air was cleaner.

Ahsona took in a deep lungful of air, closing her eyes as she stretched out through the force to touch the living things around her. People, animals, and trees all burned brightly in her minds eye, infusing her with an almost giddy energy, and spilling a smile across her lips. Opening her eyes, Ahsona paced across the pad, and through the terminal closer to the bole of the great tree supporting the spaceport. The closer she got to the heart of the tree, the less sway she felt, until the tree limb below her seemed as sturdy as the solid earth of the plains of her peoples hunting grounds.

Once out of the spaceport, Ahsona zoned her mind out, letting the force direct her path. Foot in front of foot, the bark giving only slightly beneath the hardened skin of her bare heels and toes, she moved across limb and bridge, the ground hidden by gloom far beneath her.

Before very long, her feet paused as she felt a higher concentration of force sensitive nearby. She refocused her eyes on where she was, glancing around with curiosity. Usually such concentrations spoke of an enclave, but she hadn't thought that one had been on Kashyyk for some time, though her wandering ways kept her out of the loop. A shoulder flash on one of the workers showed a silver symbol that looked vaguely familiar, the symbol of the Jedi Order colored Silver.

"Silver Jedi on Kashyyk..." What she had heard of the Silvers had them headquartered on Voss, and helping a large area of largely independent systems maintain order and mutual defense. She had heard that they had fallen on some hard times, being pushed back by the combined mights of the First Order and the Galactic Empire, who then promptly left the systems they had "liberated" to fend for themselves.

The people around the area looked to be busy with building and other such tasks. Ahsona moved towards the bole of the tree the Enclave was being settled at, and sat with her back to the massive tree wall. From her bag she produced a ration bar and a knife, and began to whittle bites off one at a time and chew them thoughtfully as she watched the people work.

News travels fast, almost as fast as light itself. The Silvers are moving to Kashyyyk, a place Théo knew having been here on his travel when in exile so many years ago now, or at least it seemed. Kashyyyk had been kind to him, much of that journey away from the Silvers and the Order had been one of self discovery and needed at the time because much had happened to the young Théo. Now years after, a man of his own, he had come here to help where he could. Valae had been kind enough to come to his aid on Ilum, now it was his turn to repay her.

The Tarly, descended lightly on the ground just near the location of the new Temple construction site. There was a smile on his face as he looked out the viewing port, only to see the exact place in which he had been, and stayed with the Wookiee. The Jedi would be welcomed here, the village in which they are now closely set up filled with the gentle giants would see them done well. Sure there would be much to do and many a 'conference' between the two peoples but he was sure Valae and her leaders would form an accord with them. There was a sense of destiny about this move.

There would be few he would know, some strangers in the Order yet to become friends, but there would be time for all that in the coming days. The main objective for this visit was to see Val and give her the help she required of him. There would be no Iron Empire Praetor treading the soft sands today, his uniform left on the ship as it is way to hot to be adorned in such attire, only thin brown trousers and white shirt would form his wear today and already he could feel the humidity settle on his brow in the form of beads of sweat. Damn heat, although his force training enough to stop over heating the blood of the Valkyri.

A hand quickly slapped the side of his neck, in hope of providing a means for a mozzie to join the living force .. it got away. We wadded across the thin part of the crystal clear stream, welcomed the cooling of the waters as he did so, and once on the other side his bare feet could feel the warmth of the sand. He could sense Val, just could not see her, so he yelled out through the force heralding his arrival. Maybe she is up in the trees, he looked up into the cooling canopy.

Douglas Starwind

Head of Fire, Heart of Gold
Doug squinted his eyes in a slightly unimpressed manner at the fake flirting by Tanaski, but that just seemed to be how this person rolled. With a moment of silence, Tanaski had bursted out laughing and promptly explained what that flirting was all about. Apparently the name actually meant 'I love you' in another language... Well, it made sense now, but it was clear that Tanaski was a bit of a teaser. That much he could gather at any rate...

It was soon confirmed that Tanaski was indeed related to Sky'ito. Doug nodded. He supposed it wasn't too surprising now that he thought about it. He remembered her mentioning a... Brother back on Voss. Yes. He also made note that Tana was an appropriate nickname to use. "Mmm, yeah, the Order is a nice place full of good people... And this new planet does seem rather breathtaking with the view... Although this whole 'living like a noble' thing... I hope that wasn't the main reason that you joined up now... This is no game, I'll say that much." Doug then replied.

In the short time Jihun had known Aerena, the plucky Rebel commander had grown on him, but she was one who liked to blab ad nauseam. He wasn't having any of it during the ride to Kashyyyk, so shortly after lift off, he had retreated to the back of the U-Wing to enjoy a half bottle of Corellian Spiced Ale.

His move didn't deter her from trying to strike up a conversation, but eventually she got the hint that he wasn't in the mood for small talk. So for most of the ride, he was able to enjoy the bliss of silence as he sipped on the bottle.

All that changed the moment he caught Aerena looking his way as he tipped the bottle to his lips, the woman cracking a mischievous grin.

His eyes narrowed in suspicion, but in his inebriated state, he was much too sluggish to react to her shenanigans behind the yoke, head banging against the bulkead while dropping the bottle in surprise. The bottle first dropped against his chest, his shirt getting splashed with warm alcohol. Made from transparisteel, the the bottle didn't shatter upon crashing to the floor, but kept rolling, leaking the remainder of its contents.

Once he got his bearings from the crash, Jihun scowled at the troll from his hammock while cupping the side of his head.

"...I'm going to assume that was an accident," he muttered. "Any more 'accidents' during this trip, and you'll magically find yourself waking up tied to trunk of a Wroshyr tree in the Shadowlands."

His hand found the blaster strapped to his thigh. There was small click as he flipped the setting to stun mode with a thumb, a subtle warning to discourage anymore funny business, but once they landed he was going to get her back for sure. He spent the rest of the flight plotting revenge for his sore head and lost booze.

And so it was after wandering seem aimlessly for some time that he soon finds himself face to face with something somewhat unexpected. That of some strange stone structure in the middle of some dense vegetation. Behind what appeared been a few massive downed trees which at best peak his interest. To the point besides his better judgment Ronin then decided to make a detour check it out. At which time climb up the stone carved steps towards what appeared to be some sort doorway.

From which he for momentary second paused and grabbing what seems to be a half used an old torch on the side. Which he lit up before slowly make his way down the hall into what seems to be the belly of the beast.....pitch dark as it appeared be hand carved. It almost seems that it would stretch for miles but then again it might not yet onward he went further down......checking out the place which if it all checks out he'd been contemplate take as his own hideaway in this new foreign planet.
