DARK EMPIRE
CORELLIA, CORE WORLDS

As he clung to the wreckage of the Corellian starfighter, Sularen watched as an old light freighter jumped out of hyperspace nearby, with it's bay doors soon opening out to reveal a group of individuals in space suits who moved forth to investigate the destroyed transport before moving to split off in search of something or someone. While the allegiance of those who had arrived remained unknown to him, Sularen knew too well what they were looking for given their timely arrival in the wake of the destruction of the shuttle carrying him and it's escorts. Whoever these individuals were they were here for him.

Considering that these individuals weren't wearing Imperial Zero-Gravity Armor, the Grand Admiral knew that whoever these individuals were, clearly weren't friendlies. As such he quickly moved forth to hide himself within the cockpit of the destroyed Corellian starfighter which would give him some cover as he contemplated his next move. Taking a small peak outside, Sularen moved forth to examine his surroundings. While the hangars of the Corellian Star Defender weren't that far from his current position, the old Light Freighter was currently positioned between him and the closest hangar.

This gave Sularen three options. The first option was that he could either try to propel himself towards the Corellian Star Defender and try to hijack a Starfighter parked in it's hangar. However in order to do this, the Grand Admiral would have to make good use of the debris scattered around him while evading the group of individuals, and even worse given his restraints his mobility was severely restricted compared to the search party who were equipped with zero-gravity suits. A second option could be to try to hijack the old freighter itself but then that would have the same amount of risk as the first option as he'd have to either fight or evade the individuals searching for him, both of were not desirable choices.

In the end Sularen choose the third option, opting to stay within the cockpit of the destroyed starfighter and wait for an opportunity to present itself to him so that he could escape this situation, hoping that whoever was searching for him would be dumb enough to make a mistake.

Braze was jolted in his seat, pulled against the seat belt as the ship lurched in response to Jasper's maneuvers. A wave of nausea swept over him from the sudden motion, and he braced himself, one hand instinctively covering his mouth. Everything was happening so fast, and although his sharp mind usually kept pace, this time felt different... surreal. It was as if everything around him played out like a movie, beyond his control, unable to alter the course of fate in that moment. He choked back the saliva that began to coat his throat, swallowing hard as he leaned slightly this way or that, listening to Jasper and Dracken talk.

Were these terrorists? People who wanted Sully dead? Whoever they were, it seemed they didn't care who got hurt in their quest to reach him.

"Papa...?" Braze squeaked from behind his hand as the world spun around him. It was an odd word for him to use, especially in front of another living person, much less a foreign dignitary during an important mission like this. Braze likely would never utter such a term of endearment toward Jasper under normal circumstances, but the overwhelming stress and nausea seemed to have stripped away his usual restraint. For whatever reason, that word slipped out as he tried to suppress the urge to be sick, his small chest heaving slowly as he struggled to breathe and calm down. Somber jade green eyes were wide as they watched the coarse they had been set on.
