A Helping Blade (Darth Ferus)

Another little huff escaped her lips before saying "That's why others seem more hell-bound to me. It's all a matter of killing or taking control or ruling the galaxy and so on. I'm only interested in power and knowledge, and I'm not about to kill some random thing for the fun of it. I'm still human after all... No offense." she added, remembering she was speaking with an alien. After that when he asked about the breed of Sithspawn she shrugged, saying "Not entirely sure. Dog-like is anything else. I found him in Courascant's under city while in-training with my Master. During so I'd killed his mother and allowed the Sith forces to take the other siblings. I kept the strongest as my own. And I named him Sebastian."

Ferus nodded along slowly as [member="Darth Raven"] described the encounter. The bit about being human didn't seem to phase him, as he was use to the statement by now, but he was much more curious on the Sithspawn itself. "Could you bring him in here? I've been meaning to figure out different species of Sithspawn to make my own."

It was a good thing they were both in the Sith Temple. It meant that it would be easier for Darth Raven to call Sebastian over. She shrugged before walking towards the doorway of the training room. She gave a loud whistle that seemed to echo louder than expected, given that it was also a call with the Force. She stepped back to where [member="Darth Ferus"] and only indicated to wait. After a few minutes the sound of things crashing, people screaming, and an almost canine-like barking could be heard. A moment after that the figure of the sithspwan finally slid into the room, frantically reaching his master. Upon his arrival Raven knelt down and greeted her sithspawn as any other pet, giving it scratches around the head while calling him a "good boy".

While not the most elegant Sithspawn the Zabrak had seen, Ferus watched it with a form of awe. Such a powerful looking animal, and it was a product of none other than the Sith themselves. He cast a glance to [member="Darth Raven"] , who seemed to have trained it well before he looked once more at the beast.

"I've never seen anything like it, what's its purpose?"

She looked back and gave him an odd look to his question. "Does he really need one? He's my friend." She said in a matter-of-fact tone. "If anything he is loyal and will protect me like a well-trained hound would. Other than that I just love having him around. He's a good boy." Turning back and scratching him again she said "Isn't that right? Who's a good boy?" The sithspawn, still acting like a hound, stuck it's tongue out and giving happy little grunts.

Ferus opened his mouth to speak about the Sithspawn, but he quickly shut it as the 'pup' was once more pet. A bemused smile formed on his red features, he leaning against the wall behind him with his hands crossed over his chest. "You really have no idea how nice it is to see someone almost normal here within the Sith." It wasn't an insult, but complete truth. So far, this meeting with [member="Darth Raven"] had gone so right.

Hearing that she glanced back to him, finishing her little rub of Sebastian';s chest. She smirked while standing and saying "Don't think me wrong, [member="Darth Ferus"] . I do have some moments where I become... 'less civil'. But it's not as common as some of the other Sith. Maybe it's because I didn't start as a Sith apprentice. Maybe I'm just not interested in killing EVERYONE. Only people who get in my way. And what fun would it be in destroying everything? There'd be nothing left to do."

"Except create new things. New life can only grow after the old has died. Forest fires give birth to new plants and animals to grow in their place no?" It was simple logic, but one Ferus seemed to actually believe in. For there to be new growth, the old had to die. "However, I think I've taken up enough of your time. If you will excuse me." With a bow of his head the Zabrak would turn to leave [member="Darth Raven"] . His mind was elsewhere now, focused on the Sithspawn and what he could do to them given time.

His leave seemed a bit abrupt but Raven only bowed as he did before seeing him leave. Odd as it was she was now thinking more on his words. New life came from the destruction of old. That was true. But the right conditions meant things could be grown to fit the wants of the one who destroyed the old, possibly. Once the old died, who was to say the new could not be just a stronger version of the old? The wheels began to turn in Raven's mind, and the more she thought about it the more she wished she'd had the chance to thank [member="Darth Ferus"] properly. Oh well. Time would tell.
