Dreidi had been attempting to demonstrate her skills and abilities more to the Jedi that were at the New Jedi Order, so far it hadn't gone to plan. She had clashed over ideas of approaching missions, butting heads about the fact Dreidi tended be "chaotic" or "out of control". While Dreidi saw them as "boring" or "lame for not wanting to be badass Jedi", comments which had also not gone down well either. She wasn't out of control or dangerous in her mind, just riskier, aggressive and willing to do anything and everything to get the job done. She worked hard in her skills and ensured she was as capable of a fighter as she could be. Training with anyone willing to spar with her and continually going back home to Asaraa to dedicate herself hard in classes and training exercises. She was also training with Vanya as well and learning everything she could about the Witches of Dathomir's Magick. Her skills there were growing each day and she was learning from them how to be aggressive, acting first, doing everything necessary to survive. It was no different when she fought in battles, she nearly died every time and it wasn't because she had been reckless then, it was trusting others that got her harmed.

However, today she was signing up for a mission with Master Valery Noble, who had a reputation around the Order for being strict, tough but a good Jedi and seemingly strong leader that people looked towards. Dreidi wasn't sure yet, she would have to see the woman in action to decide how she felt about the Jedi Master. There were some that she liked and got on with and then there were others that she saw as judgemental, weak, or more dangerous to galactic peace than the Sith were. She was wearing her usual Jedi gear, hair tied in a low ponytail and her Lightsaber clipped to her belt as she waited at the entrance of the Jedi Temple to meet Master Noble. She decided to use the time and work on her incantations and ensure that she could say them accurately, quickly and precisely. It was no good going into battle and messing up when she was saying an incantation and getting herself blown up instead of setting an enemy on fire. That would just be frustrating and would get her in a lot of trouble with Vanya.

Manipulating the small, green fireball in her hands, she moved it around her body and watched it grow, burn brighter and hotter as she manipulated the fire. She smirked as she worked her Magick, speaking quickly as she aimed to set alight the nearby torch that she had taken the fire from. As she focused, her words slipped slightly and she felt the hot flames touch her palm. Extinguishing the flames, she yelped and bit back anger at her slipping of words. Inspecting her palm, there was no burning, it seemed she had pulled away just in time and Dreidi sighed with relief as she looked around and hoped that no one had seen her mess up as she waited a little impatiently for the Jedi Master.

Valery had heard about Dreidi Xeraic Dreidi Xeraic from her Padawans, who had both been quite frustrated with the Jedi's behavior. To them, she appeared reckless and chaotic, too quick to jump into action without thinking everything through to make the best decisions. It was something Valery recognized quite well, as she had been very similar when she was young, but eventually, she did grow beyond such behavior.

Today was going to be an attempt to help Dreidi adjust a little as well through a more serious mission, one where her usual approach was likely going to fall apart. It was still going to take some effort, as they hadn't even met yet, but she felt confident that it was possible.

"Padawan Xeraic?" Valery asked after she made her way down the Temple's staircases, through the hall, and out towards the entrance. She then dipped her head respectfully to greet the young woman, and offered a kind smile, "I'm Master Noble, I don't think we've had a chance to meet before, so it's a pleasure," she said with a calm tone of voice.

"I hope the day finds you well, and that you're ready for our mission?"

Hearing a voice call out to her, addressing her as Padawan Xeraic. Did people really use titles like that around here? It felt so formal and awkward to Dreidi, she was more than a Padawan but at the same time, it was exactly who she was. Coughing to clear her throat, "Dreidi, but yes, that's me." Dreidi offered a small smile as she adjusted her vest jacket a bit. Valery was definitely an impressively strong woman and she was a little intimidating in appearance as well but Dreidi didn't let her be phased by all this, she had teamed up with Sith Lords and others of well renown. "Pleasure to meet you Master Noble." A short nod of her head in welcome.

"Always making sure I am prepped and ready for a mission. Wouldn't be a good Jedi if I wasn't, and definitely wouldn't be ready for the trials if I slacked off before a mission." Dreidi answered as she tried to control the nervous energy that she was feeling and attempted to not bounce around and reveal how much of a ball of crazed energy she was. "What mission did you have in mind?" Dreidi asked, curious as to what she would get into today and hoping she would get a chance to show her skills as a fighter and Force User, even demonstrate something new to the Jedi Master in terms of Magick abilities.

"Dreidi it is," Valery said to correct herself.

She then took a good look at the younger woman, who seemed much calmer on the outside than she had expected after hearing some stories from her Padawans. Perhaps the recklessness came out only during missions, in the heat of the moment. Or perhaps it was just an isolated 'incident', and Dreidi was very much able to perform her duties as a Jedi.

"Good, I'm glad you're prepared - it's going to be needed today," Valery said before she gestured for the woman to follow her. While they'd walk towards the shuttle bay higher up inside the Temple, Valery would continue their conversation, "We're going to extract some of our people who were compromised during a mission in the outer rim," Valery explained calmly.

"SIA agents to be specific, and they're currently in hiding on Mek-Sha. It's quite likely that we'll run into trouble, especially if they have been found by now. But until we do, we must try not to draw any attention to ourselves." She paused and turned her fiery eyes to Dreidi.

"Have you done undercover work like this before?"

Dreidi followed Valery, curious to see how the Jedi Master would be on mission, to see whether there was the attitudes of Briana and Iris in Valery that could explain why they did not like the way that Dreidi approached things. "Do we know why they were compromised? Is that something else we will need to figure out as well?" Dreidi asked curious, her mind reeling with ideas, could it have been a hacker? Someone leaking information on purpose or by accident? Were the agents reckless, careless and just simply got caught? Too many possibilities floated through her mind.

"What kind of trouble? Gangs, Sith?" The differences were massive and meant a very different approach in terms of dealing with the issue, gangs were much easier to deal with than Sith. At least in Dreidi's mind. Gangs didn't have the Force, didn't have Lightsabers, didn't have years of training. Sith were a threat just as much as fighting a Jedi. "Won't we stand out anyway though? Just, we look like Jedi no matter where we go?" Dreidi gestured to her own outfit which screamed Jedi and she figured that Valery looked the same.

Shaking her head, she had never been especially interested in the Jedi Shadows field of work, it felt slow. Required so much patience and delicacy that Dreidi just wasn't as interested in. "Not really the sneaky, spying, spending ages watching type. More, get in, get the job done, get out." Dreidi shrugged.
