He sighed and he strode the short distance to speak to Zhar. "That last part isn't our Code. It's Sith and therefore it stands in opposition to what a Jedi stands for. We are not bound by chains, we choose to serve."
In response to the first question, how did he explain the schism....
"Once we were united, now it's about ideology, as you said. The Coalition broke away because they opposed Republic corruption. The Galactic Alliance are hard-line anti Sith and significantly more dogmatic."
Shaking his head, he spread his hands in frustration. He'd grown disillusioned with the entire situation, ignoring politics in favour of archaeological studies.
