A light in the Shadows (Republic-PM First)

Kian turned his attention back to the Commander and ran his hand over his mask in contemplation. He had put some thought into this prior to the meeting.

"The ship would need to be able to maintain secrecy. Stealth should be the main focus over any offensive capabilities. The interior of the ship will need to serve several functions." Kian said raising his hand and ticking off with his fingers.

"(1) It should, first and foremost, provide the training facilities, meditation chambers, and databases necessary for the training of Jedi, and (2) it will need to provide amenities for intelligence gathering, in addition to all the amenities necessary to provide a home to the Jedi who come as well as to the staff on board."

Kian folding his hands in front of him, his fingers making a triangle in front of his chest as he sat back in his chair.

"The ship needs to be a ghost, Commander. There can be nothing linking it to the Jedi. Whoever works on it, can't know what it is for."

"So, long story short," Zane said, considering his options and weighing them up very carefully. "You want the ship to have advanced sensors and databanks, and more training rooms." Being familiar with the current interior of the ship class, he knew it inside and out; it wasn't something he'd forget about any time soon. For the most part, it already served that purpose as a mobile base and headquarters.

"I'll leave the ghosting bits and pieces up to you, Master Karr. It'll be your ship. I'll be glad to sign it over to you, should you so choose."

Zane folded his arms, apparently rather satisfied with the fact that his shipment of stygium was now aboard and stowed. In fact, even while on the bridge, an ensign of the Navy came up to him and saluted, handing him a datapad to glance at while he was on the call: the deck quartermaster had put the heavy shipment of stygium crystals for the delivery of this vessel away and securely in the cargo hold. The Remembrance had taken stock of its precious cargo.

"I think that's everything. Are you ready for me to submit the modified design to KDY, Master?"

Kian considered everything for a moment, his hand fingers tapping every so lightly on the table. He was going through the checklist in his mind, making sure he had everything in order. This was a big endeavor, not only because it would provide the Shadows with a mobile base, but also because it would cost the Republic a pretty penny. Kian knew that it would pay off in the long run. The intelligence that the Shadows gathered wasn't distributed widely, but anything relavent made its way to Republic Intelligence.

Shaking his head, Kian finally spoke. "Yes. Yes I am." Turning toward Jack Rand, Kian smiled and bowed his head then turned back toward the Commander.

"I want to express my gratitude for the work we've done here today, and the work that is to come. Thank you both."
