A Long Trip

"Honestly, I've never heard of the guy. When I lived here, I didn't care about politics. And now that I don't live here, I still don't care about this place's politics." Rael crossed his arms, and looked at the girl in the pilot's seat. "What's your name? I'm Rael, by the way. Can't remember if I told you or not." His eyes drifted to the window on the bridge. He smiled, looking out at the stars. The kaleesh had no idea which ones were which, or even his own general location among the stars. All he cared about right now was getting back to the Jedi.

Well, that was good at least. Maybe he wouldn't figure out that she was the Imperial Grand Admirals daughter and she could quietly escape into obscurity and avoid being found out by Imperial Agents. She was more than certain that her father would send someone looking for her now that he knew she existed. Nobody else was likely to care enough, but her father had the power to do what he wished and that meant he was dangerous. So, she wasn't going to tell Spike her real last name.

"Caaithiel," is all she said. She didn't really want to get into a deep conversation with him. She just wanted to get to Republic space and ditch him and the hunk of rotting bolts they were flying in.

"Caaithiel. Nice name. You know, the higher ups don't see it. But I do. The Republic needs people like you, Caaithiel. I can barely navigate the holonet let a lone break into a spacesport's security and steal a frigate." He spun around in the chair a few times, sticking his legs out. Rael stopped himself, and moved over to the co-pilots chair. He sat down, and started fiddling with the controls. He didn't know how to do much, but the Jedi was truly trying to learn. He hummed a little kaleesh song to himself, one that had been thrust back into his memory while visiting his home planet.
