A Meeting of Three

"My name is of no consequence to you", Luke shot at the man. He wasn't about to hand over that which was all he had left. His name was his last possession, and likely no more than three people alive knew it. It wasn't just something to his away. As he thought this however, he thought of his sister. No matter what happened to her, she wouldn't want him to be so hard on himself. He couldn't push everyone away... Sighing, he pulled back his hood, revealing the face of a teenager, but one could tell it had much more experience. Scars adorned his face from a catastrophe that happened two years ago. He looked more a man than a twenty-one year old boy. "I'm Luke."

Alexandra looked at the man for a few moments before smiling and speaking to him with the same soft voice that she carried. "I am Alexandra, glad to meet you Luke and i do hope things are going well for you today, it would be bad if you were having a bad day and then got threatened by us." Cain walked towards the man. He stretched out his hand. "The name is Cain, it's nice to meet you." He can tell now that Luke probably means them no harm. A large gust of wind suddenly rolled in that gave Cain the chills. If you looked past the scars you could see a kid that didn't look much older than Cain was. He began to wonder why he had wanted their attention in the first place.

Luke eyed the hand for a few seconds before taking it in his own. "Nice to meet you, Cain, Alexandra." Sitting down next to the woman, he kept his head down a little. If anything, he wasn't even sure why he had shown himself. Now that he knew that the two others were not Sith, he felt like an intruder. "I... I should probably get going." Getting back up, he went to pull his hood back up. He could always find another waterfall.

"You know, there isnt another beautiful sight for at least fifty miles in any direction... well not this beautiful, stay a while and dont worry about Unihorn there, he creeps me out too." She smiled as she saw his cautiousness, his unease at the situation, so a light joke wouldn't hurt. Though she glanced at [member="Cain Laatl"] and gave him a smile as well, soft and kind, to make sure he knew she had said that not to be insulting but to calm [member="Luke Beleren"] before he left too early for any sort of conversation."

Cain looked at Alexandra with a strange look. What was that supposed to mean? He tried not to let it get to him too much. He turned his attention towards Luke, and said "Why did you come here in the first place?" He knew that Luke had something on his mind. Cain continued to slowly relax. Luke could have easily killed him while they were shaking hands, so the guy must have other intentions.

Luke looked between the two, raising an eyebrow at the woman. "All I wanted was some quiet. Peace. I've been trying to find peace again for the longest time. I'm not finding very much peace here..." He paused and looked at the woman then. "Though you're the first pleasant thing I've seen all day." Looking back at the other man, he shrugged lightly. "Might as well hear you out, if not for the lady's sake."

She smiled and went back to being silent, letting [member="Cain Laatl"] say what he wanted to say while she became a silent observer, a mediator, an adviser. The calm flow that kept things from blowing apart and causing only a massive headache the likes that even a smashed drunkeness cant beat... speaking of which she was thirsty. Her hand reached down and took in it the waterskin she had with her, drinking from it. [member="Luke Beleren"]

Cain sat down next to Alexandra. He really had nothing else to say to Luke so he began to have three rocks circle him. He usually played with the force when he was born. He knew that Alexandra would probably be mad at him for messing up her rocks again, but he didn't care.

[member="Alexandra Cinthra"] [member="Luke Beleren"]

The floating rocks intrigued Luke. In fact, they intrigued him very much. "You seem to have a much better control over your power than I do..." He looked at the single-horned man, his expression almost resentful. Perhaps he figured that if he could do tricks like that, he might have been able to save his sister. Maybe he could find training here, on Alderaan. But he wouldn't ask. No, he would wait for an offer, so as not to appear weak.

"It takes practice is all, practice makes perfect and in the end so you just have to keep at it to become better in the force, things are only as bad as they seem." She had spoken up and looked at the waterfall off in the distance. "Have you any questions for me or my fried here mister [member="Luke Beleren"], im sure we both had great answers for your questions."

He sounded like he wanted some training. Cain was game for that. "If there's anything you want to know, just ask. I'm full of all sorts of great things." He chuckled a little. He quickly glanced at Luke, then at Alexandra. The rocks continued floating around him. He had a good grasp on the force, and if this kid wanted to know more about it, then by all means Cain would teach him.

Luke nodded then, moving a little closer. "I don't know much about this 'force' to start with. Maybe you could start by teaching me proper control, then we can go on to some other advanced teachings?" He had to admit, now he was getting anxious. If the two were truly willing to help him, he could definitely learn a lot.

Alexandra waved her hand to Cain, though she could start this man's tutorship she wanted to watch Cain as well and take a impression of how he channeled the force. If he bent it to his will he still used Sith training, if he followed it and let it flow free without interruption, Jedi training. But did he realize the third way in which someone can use the force, that was the question... "After you, i think ill just watch for now, after all you do seem to like to use the force to screw up my perfect ring."

Cain pondered, what should he teach the man? There always was his signature technique, but if too many people learned it, he would no longer be unique. "Let's try to get you to use the force with less effort." Once one could summon the force with small amounts of effort, they were very very powerful against non-force sensitives. "I want you to try and feel the force around you, and realize that the force is everywhere. Just let all of the energy around you gather into your body. Then release it, but make sure you do it softly. I wont blame you if can't handle releasing that much energy with restraint, but be warned, if you mess up Alexandra's circle anymore I think she'll pounce." He smiled, and winked at [member="Alexandra Cinthra"].

[member="Luke Beleren"]

Luke listened intently, letting loose a tiny smile when Cain made a crack about the woman's circle. Sitting down, he tried do do as he was told. The force... everywhere? He had to try and feel it, to reach out to it. Closing his eyes, he did just that. Though the connection was tiny, it was definitely there. He smiled-if only for a moment. Fire cascaded in his mind. Flames danced across the roof of the house. He cringed, then let out a cry. "Emily! No!" A strong wave of force flowed from him, going in every direction. His eyes flew open, glowing deep blue for a few seconds until he calmed back down.

Alexandra raised her hand the moment that the wave of force energy burst out cringing a moment but diverting the force around her best she could, her eyes shut and mind focused. Once the burst had passed she opened her eyes and checked on the scene, her brow raised as she waited to see how he would explain that, her voice soft, kind, and caring as she spoke to him. "Whos Emily?" [member="Luke Beleren"] [member="Cain Laatl"]

Cain was just as curious as Alexandra. That was pretty odd. Meditation did often cause flashbacks of the past, until you could learn to move past the incident. He had personal experience of that. Cain took a couple steps toward Luke. He placed his hand on Luke's shoulder, and tried to console him. "Are you alright?" For the first eight years of being a Sith, Cain had to deal with vivid flashbacks of the past. Of his parents being executed. At first he would open his eyes screaming and crying. Later he learned how to hold back from showing the pain. Eventually he was able to completely clear his mind. Now Luke was going to have to go through this regularly.

Luke breathed slowly, fighting away the tears. He was stronger now. He couldn't cry. Once he gained his awareness again, he heard the two inquiring about Emily. "She is... was.. my sister. I lost her in a fire when we were younger. I was powerless to help her. I had her in my grasp..." He clenched his fist tightly. "I set her outside, told her to stay while I tried to save our mother. Mom died, and I never saw Emily again. For all I know, she's dead."

"Are you dead?" She said this without any emotion beyond curiosity, her hands crossing in her lap for a few seconds before she leaned forward and waited for the answer. She offered no more words that that, her eyes unmoving and mouth remaining in the semi curve that gave it its normal appearance. The question had been an importance, though he would likely not understand why she asked it. [member="Cain Laatl"]
